I'm 6'5, and I've stood next to him. He is taller than 6'6. McDermott isn't 6'8. 6'6 is more likely. A Metro coach that I am friends with (who is a legit 6'5) has told me that Doug isn't much taller than him. Cool, thanks. I'm far from a Jays expert. I was just going by his listed height.

I agree with you but they won't give it a to a 10th place coach. I will say miles has exceeded my expectations this year. I wanted to see an improved team from beginning to end, and I believe we are.

Totally agree, actually wish maybe they would move one game there for the younger generation. When growing up I always heard about some state basketball game that was there, it was a last second shot called "Miracle on Vine" or something. Anybody else older hear of that? yeah....I believe the guy that made that shot was a tax professor at UNO and passed away within the past year or two.....I can't recall his name at the moment

I remember beating badly an undefeated oklahoma st. team, ranked #2 I think. That game was alot of fun. I also believe that was the same day we signed Tommie Frazier, as I recall the students cheering Tommie Frazier's name after the game exiting the Devaney.

I applauded that guy when he walked by. I sit in section A and never leave early. It pisses me off when some of those fans around me leave early just to beat traffic.

I hope you are right. Not landing Tai would be a huge loss! I have faith we will get him, but unfortunately I am still haunted by the bad luck we have had in our history, such as the Roburt Sallie debacle.

I wish I could be there for the USC game. I will be there for the Creighton game but almost wish I could go to the USC game instead. Hopefully people realize the importance of this and fill up those seats!
