We must be getting close. The posters are printed....and starting to reach distribution.

I have now listened to 3 podcasts of these guys... Dimes, your assessment is very kind...you are a gentleman.

If the refs don't call it...it is how you most effectively play the game. I can't blame Craft for playing by the rules they are calling. Over the years the extremely physical defense has crept evermore into basketball. I will be thrilled if they actually follow up on these points of emphasis....not only in November but all the way through April. It will put more athleticism into the game and make it better to watch.

He's tall. I'm looking forward to him breaking our heart You mean that missed final shot where we lose the NCAA title game in 2019? Deal with it!

This answer makes Prince sound like he has the attitude we need to find in a recruit.

Free Rivals article - Miles Press Conference
trickey replied to ajb5856's topic in The Haymarket Hardwood
Another FREE view of the TM press conference today from 247....a few different tidbits http://nebraska.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=1561673 For instance: – Miles again said that he could play Deverell Biggs and Tai Webster together on the floor. – Miles on Walter Pitchford: "I think people are going to be surprised at how productive he can be,” – On the state of Nebraska basketball recruiting: “We're getting higher, more prolific guys on campus, we're staying in it longer for them, but we're not over the top getting them,” Miles said. 'We all know what's going to get us over the top: Winning. We're not going to get those guys till we win. That's the deal.” -

It's hard to score when you don't have shooters.
trickey replied to Norm Peterson's topic in The Haymarket Hardwood
I am not sure you can draw general conclusions, since the 11/12 season appears to be the only year with a statistically significant differences in CSU's favor...and that is before you attempt to factor in NU faced a significantly tougher conference schedule of defenders. Now, on the other hand, if we shoot what CSU did in 11/12..we will be dancing! And I think we are going to see a significant uptick with our shooting %s! If we are within sniffing distance of CSU's 40% from 3 in 11/12...we will all be smiling....big-time! -
The only "obstructed" seats that I'm aware of are the seats directly behind the stairs opening in the second and third decks. So if you got unlucky and got seated in the couple seats that happen to be right behind the opening you will be partially looking through the railing with the cable wires running through the railing. It's the thing that prevents people from falling off the cliff. The rail that runs along the rim of the 200 and 300 levels will impede the views of nearly all people in the first row. In the 200 level, it shouldn't impact anyone beyond that. I'm in row 2 of the 200 level, on an aisle and I didn't have any trouble. This was my view from where my dad and I are sitting this season IMG_39037718231180.jpegIMG_39037718231180.jpeg I still do not understand why they can't use plexiglass like they did at Hawks Field...while I would prefer nothing in my way, I understand why they need a barrier...and as somebody that had to look through the plexiglass at Hawks...you can get used to it...the black bar, I am guessing, not so much.

We can accept that you may not post at a prolific rate,,,(only Norm can make it appear you have writer's block). It is a question of balance in your life! But you still have time to post as much as us peons in the posting world... and I did check...they have access to youtube, even in Hampton, through this new internet thingy! It's up to you! Good luck on the restaurant...I bet you will even have salsa items on the menu...when I stop by, make mine EXTRA HOT. -
All you can do is wish him luck...then unfollow. It will be interesting to see if his LSU followers will offset the Huskers fleeing.

Bon Jovi for Nebrasketball: Do we need to stop it?
trickey replied to hhcmatt's topic in The Haymarket Hardwood
I was not at the scrimmage...so help me out here. Did they actually play this 3 1/2 minute version or a truncated clip? The first would be way to long to wait and an awful mistake. The 45 second type would just be a bad choice. At the end of the day...I would say...social media away! -
That we know about...

trickey replied to hhcmatt's topic in The Haymarket Hardwood
I did not have the chance to make the scrimmage...I was hoping it would be out there in cyber-world in full. So far I have only found this fluff piece on you tube. Does anybody know of a link to the full broadcast? -
2013 Husker Scrimmage Thread: Hüsker Nü

This is some serious leap....since he is 6'2" and since the top of his head appears to be at minimum...9'6" (40 inches) # 15 brings a Ray of Sunshine!... Goooaal....SunShine! -
While it would be great to meet Lebron (who never went to college)...how much weight do you believe guys give to a guy they may never see again...and certainly not with regularity? I hope we aim at recruits smart enough to care more about their day to day life than they do Lebron, Shaq or even a Jay-Z concert. While these may all make a guy decide to spend a weekend to visit... They are not what the informed, intelligent recruit needs to determine the opportunities presented by a school on a regular basis are worth a commit. These exciting moments are the door-busters that get a recruit on campus...not the important things that will keep them there.

http://247sports.com/Article/Texas-7-footer-Elbert-Robinson-honing-in-on-college-choice-151762 free 247 article about ER There are a few nuggets Husker fans will like...but he compliments everybody....I like what his coach said about Nu but I don't think we are supposed to lift quotes from copyrighted material....Right, Dimes?
