  1. Visiting April 19-21 per Jon Rothstein. Need to find the tweet
  2. Do you plan on updating?
  3. Trying to get lined up for April 26 weekend
  4. https://247sports.com/college/vanderbilt/Article/Vanderbilt-basketball-recruiting-Yvan-Ouedraogo-129824250/ He was reportedly between Vanderbilt, TCU and Georgia Tech in March. Bryce Drew has been fired since then.
  5. Is this how you would spell "Ivan Drago" in French?
  6. Seems doubtful
  7. In that case there are no known verbal commits for 2019
  8. Looks like we offered him back in February. He was playing in Connecticut for post grad I think, originally from Colorado. No idea if this is still valid though I'd assume this is from Gates.
  9. Heck i can't believe I missed this for the last 2 months
  10. I would assume that Heady is drinking from the same well as Robin these days in terms of recruiting information
  11. Donovan is the only known verbal commit that is ready to sign. We'll know more about Dre' Davis after this weekend. Cam Mack is visiting but he doesn't currently have an offer. Transfers don't need to sign.
  12. I see he also had a twisted ankle
  13. Does anyone know why his playing time was limited this year? Injury? Dude can stroke
  14. high maintenance/immature was more the picture painted. Zero idea to the validity of this...just something to note.
  15. We're potentially picking up a kid from the same home town as Martin Krampelj...we're really leaning into this Let It Fly thing
  16. Player who averages the highest number of points in Italy (minimum of 2 games) Tiebreaker is guessing the average
  17. Two potential caveats to Mack 1. Outside shot might be questionable. 33.7% from 3 and 64.6% from the FT lane. I don't think he needs to be elite from the outside to be elite here, btw 2. Might be hard to handle off the court. The buzz on him when you search the internet is that he's hard to handle. Given our staff's reputation for handling hard to handle, it might not be an issue if there is anything to this.
  18. Joining Buzz at Texas A&M
  19. 6'3" PG, 3 years left I think him saying he wasn't going to come here at first was the reason that somehow we've gone this long without his own thread. He's from Austin and committed to Stephen F Austin though he was recruited by higher level schools. Never played a minute for them and ended up transferring to a Juco and not playing, essentially redshirting Transferred to Salt Lake CC where he committed to St Johns Highlights from this season
  20. (This can be found at the scholarship link at the top, btw) Two things 1. ATM we have 5 openings for 2019-20 and 4 openings for 2020-21. In that regards, a grad transfer is ideal to fill one of our scholarships this year. If Roby leaves, then we need 2. 2. What high level guys might we land for 2020-21? If you think you're going to get a few then you can't just fill up all of our 2019-20 schollies with guys who will also be here in 2020-21. There is no one left on the roster who couldn't transfer or go pro next year and we do still need to field a team this year.
  21. I haven't had time to type it all up but I was there and can confirm he said that.
  22. To me Harris' usage on this team is completely dependent on the rest of the team that would be on the floor. You'd need to have other guys will to take more than their fair share of shots and I think we'll have that. He works if the other 4 guys can shoot from the outside. He may or may not work if only 3 of the guys can shoot from the outside. At this point I'm struggling to even find 4 other people to put with him to project a lineups. Matt A said they're looking for length and athleticism and Harris has that in spades. With the probable amount of shooting we will bring in I suspect that we can find a use for him and i think we're going to have a very tough time finding enough bodies to put out on the court. I definitely think we want Harris rolling back next year and if things don't work out his history of moving high schools and decommitting from Rhode Island indicates to me that after this year it would not be difficult for us to mutually part ways; he's not going to want to sit and not play anymore than we will want a guy that doesn't fit what we want to do. TBH I wonder if he's going to just up and bolt one day in the next month or so.
