  2. Chris Ballam was born in France and grew up there. Any other French players? Yvan is the first one to come directly from France
  3. You're looking at it wrong...when it was posted online it said it was for the May 12 edition. The paper isn't lagging....the internet is too fast.
  4. Other than Biggs, Petteway, and Pitchford, Vucetic was the only person we added
  5. Luke Yaklich seems like a good bet for the next coach
  6. From an Okie St message board on Cross: Cross has grade issues and may have to go JUCO. This was the guy Okie St was pursuing with their last scholarship around Thursday morning. That night he's ready to make his announcement (on Tuesday)
  7. No. Shot clock reset to 20 sec on an offensive rebound. Others: In addition to the 3-point proposal, by far the biggest potential shift (which could be put into place as soon as the 2020-2021 season), the committee is also recommending a new shot clock reset "to enhance the pace of the game." Other proposals include the recommended use of instant replay during the last two minutes of the second half or the last two minutes of any overtime; the allowance for coaches to call live-ball timeouts in the last two minutes of the second half or of any overtime; and the recommendation that players be assessed a Flagrant 2 technical foul and ejection if they use derogatory language aimed at an opponent regarding race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation or disability.
  8. You haven't been paying attention. Davis, Heiman, and Harris were cut/not going to have basketball scholarships here next season. Hoiberg is allowed to do this as a new coach. It was not ultimately the players' decision to leave.
  9. Can anyone tell me how many scholarships TCU actually has available? Verbal commits is pretty worthless for this because their roster is in flux. Not sure how current the Georgia Tech offer is. With the very recent opening of scholarships we might be the favorite.
  10. He's a high flyer
  11. Do you own a ski mask and have a sense of adventure?
  12. We officially have a system where players fit in perfectly
  13. For the love of decency do not post this person's social media or personal information on this site, please and thank you.
  14. Huskers land 6'6" G/F transfer from Pitt/Nevada Nebraska gets the verbal commit from the 230+ lb Stevenson who has made two moves already in his college career due to coaching changes. “We are excited to add Shamiel to our program. He brings a lot of versatility and physicality to our roster. With his size, strength and wingspan, Shamiel fits in perfectly in our system with his ability to play several positions. He also possesses the toughness and maturity needed to play in the Big Ten.” - Coach Hoiberg The former 3 star and prep school teammate of DeAndre Ayton chose Pittsburgh and coach Kevin Stallings out of high school. Stevenson was a major contributor his freshman year, starting 13 games and averaging 8.7 ppg while shooting 37.5% from 3 and getting to the line at an impressive rate. (His FTR metric was comparable to James Palmer) Stevenson stuck on with new coach Jeff Capel but was relegated to the end of the bench, seeing action in only 4 games. Shamiel decided to transfer mid-season and chose Nevada. With former Wolfpack head coach Eric Mussleman leaving for Arkansas Stevenson decided to move on as well. Currently he's eligible after the fall semester but will most likely pursue a waiver to become immediately eligible. After this season he should have two years remaining. With his size Stephenson looks to slot in defensively as a PF or Center in Fred Hoiberg's 'positionless' basketball team. View full article

  16. I understand where you're coming from but aren't you doing guys a bigger disservices by keeping them on the team but probably never getting the chance to play because their skill set doesn't match what you are looking for?
  17. Sorry if I caused confusion by using someone's name. Harris absolutely wants to keep on playing college basketball and it's why he's transferring.
  18. If Hoiberg was worried about optics, Brady and not Thor would still be on the team. Miles cared a lot about optics....the lack of Hoiberg even addressing any of this publicly speaks more to Hoiberg caring about winning/not needing to care about optics.
  19. Someone correct me if I'm wrong but someone like Amir Harris could chose to remain here on a non-basketball scholarship, right?
  20. The problem with this theory is that Hoiberg is allowed to cut anyone this season
  21. I split this off
  22. Assuming that Robin was accurate at the time he reported that Thor was going to be asked to leave, what changed?
  23. A bit of both. He broke his leg in December https://www.commercialappeal.com/story/sports/college/memphis-tigers/basketball/2018/12/15/memphis-freshman-david-wingett-miss-five-weeks-fibula-fracture/2322501002/
