Meet the new Marc Boehm via Huskers.com Johnson will work closely with Moos on all aspects of the Huskers’ athletic administration and direct the department when Moos is at out of town functions. He will also have sport supervision of the men’s basketball program. Johnson has focused on external operations, facility development and strategic planning during his time with the Cougar Athletic Department. In addition to his role as Senior Associate Athletic Director, Johnson served as Washington State’s Interim Director of Athletics from October of 2017 to January of 2018 after Moos was hired at Nebraska. Johnson has 11 years of experience as an Athletic Director, leading both the Weber State and Eastern Washington athletic departments. During Johnson’s tenure at Weber State from 1997 to 2004, the Wildcats won the Big Sky All Sports trophy five times. Johnson also provided the leadership to secure funding to greatly enhance Weber State’s facilities during his tenure. While at his alma mater of Eastern Washington from 1993 to 1997, Johnson guided a 15-sport intercollegiate program and lead efforts to greatly enhance the marketing and branding of the EWU program.

They bring back PF Lamar Stevens, C Mike Watkins, SG Myles Dread, PG Jamari Wheeler, and C John Harrar so it's a solid bunch that performed well enough. Also returns SG/PG Myreon Jones (inconsistent freshman but put up several double digit scoring games) They have some major losses in lockdown G/F Josh Reaves (Grad) and PG Rasir Bolton (could shoot) They add St Bon transfer Izaiah Brockington (shot 40% from 3 in limited minutes though his FT numbers were poor) Former Indiana/Okie St player Curtis Jones (not a great shooter) 4 star SF Seth Lundy from Roman Catholic in Philly (this is the powerhouse school that produced guys like Tony Carr and Lamar Stevens) In general this will probably be a Penn St team that is as good defensively as they have been and in theory the returning guys and their chemistry could lead to better offense. Gonna need Stevens to shoot better or else have someone step up besides Dread. Point Guard situation seems tenuous...perhaps Jones takes that over. Seems like most every Penn St team where the analytics say that these guys are good and the results on the floor are them not having enough offense to win enough games. If one of the new guys can light up the scoreboard they could be real good.

Any visit to a college campus by a college-bound student-athlete or his or her parents paid for by the college is an official visit. Visits paid for by college-bound student-athletes or their parents are unofficial visits. During an official visit the college can pay for transportation to and from the college for the prospect, lodging and three meals per day for both the prospect and the parent or guardian, as well as reasonable entertainment expenses including three tickets to a home sports event. The only expenses a college-bound student-athlete may receive from a college during an unofficial visit are three tickets to a home sports event. Both the school and the athlete can have a limit to official visits so maybe it's Nebraska trying to say we really, really want you.

Tim MIles will be the commissioner of the Houston College Basketball Academy. A bit about them The academies were created as part of NCAA reforms recommended by the Rice Commission in the wake of recruiting scandals that were unearthed by the FBI probe into college basketball. The commissioners will oversee basketball skills instruction and educate invitees about the academic eligibility process and life skills as they head to college. Invitations to all four camps have been sent to 1,600 rising high school seniors, juniors and sophomores throughout the country. Division I coaches from throughout the country will be invited to evaluate players from July 23-28.

I don't think I've read a single post where someone brought up a concern about any of these guys not having a scholarship somewhere other than Nana (because he was suspended). Any sort of harshness you think you're seeing is solely about Nebraska telling some guys they couldn't play there anymore and most people understood once the initial shock wore off that it's probably a better situation for those guys to go to a team that's a better fit.

First would be tracking down which teams are playing in Italy. Then I'm sure like Nebraska their schedule will show up on their respective websites.
