Think it speaks to the sort of relationship he must have with Matt A and/or HCFH. We'll see what everyone has to say after they can talk about this but I would wonder if they would have landed him at Iowa St had Fred stuck around.

Depends on what year they're going to college. Both are 2021 that could reclassify into 2020. Not sure Sanogo fits all that well here next year because then you have 3 guys who can't shoot 3s for one spot on a team that doesn't foul a ton and might opt to play small ball at times. Sanogo looks solid but he doesn't look like he's walking in and starting over Yvan/Walker good. Would rather see him with another year or else there is always someone else. Whitt I guess depends on whether or what we think will happen with Mack, how we feel about Banton, and what are the chances with Sallis. I don't think we can have too many PGs and if we think Whitt can fit in with what we're trying to do here it seems like you might ask someone to leave if it's 2020 or nothing.

He has a medical redshirt from his freshman year. It would appear that he was frustrated with the staff at Wisconsin. It would seem that King initially was a shooter who added driving to his game according to this recruiting article from 5 years ago. Here is when King was offered by Iowa St. Fred was hired by the Bulls on June 2nd, 2015. Almost positive that King was one his last offers while still at ISU
