  1. No surprise there
  2. I'm told that the FT lines in JUCO are approximately the same distance that they are in D-1
  3. Are any of the guys we're bringing in going to be future NBA players? We just need one of those guys to hit
  4. Feels like Burke leads the conference in pushoff offensive fouls
  5. Don't feel bad about actively rooting for either Arop or Burke to turn the ball over at this point
  6. We're walking the line on that 17 point spread
  7. My bad, it's actually former NBA player Donny Marshall
  8. Donyell Marshell noting the body language looks good which reminds me that Cam isn't there tonight
  9. Channeling the ghost of Alonzo Edwards
  10. I think early in the year someone said something along the lines up 'we FINALLY have a coach that can make half time adjustments'.
  11. Just wanted people to know that this is the first game where Cross and Yvan played at the same time. Already feels like we won this one!
  12. The fun thing about this is that Michigan is one of the worst teams in Div-1 in generating turnovers.
  13. As noted elsewhere, Cam Mack is spending his time at home posting on social media
  14. Sounds like it's a one game suspension so likely he's back for Minnesota
  15. Kent said that Mack didn't make the trip so whatever happened didn't happen in Michigan
  16. A good way to beat expectations is to lower them
  17. Michigan Info Head Coach: Juwan HowardLocation: Ann Arbor, MIConference: B1GNickname: Wolverines Shirt not to wear: Yellow, Blue, Nike Line: Michigan by 17 Typical Rotation Depth: 7-9 KenPom rank: 30 Offensive Style: To the rim Defensive Style: Guarding the 3 Players to watch: Jon Teske The big 7'1" center leads the team in scoring and rebounding. Teske takes and makes enough 3s where you have to honor that ability. He's also a formidable rim protector. Players to watch: Zavier Simpson The senior PG didn't play in Lincoln though the team was fine without him. Notorious for having a poor outside shot coming into this year, Simpson is hitting on a respectable 35% this year. Roster points PG SG SF PF C Pct 1 3 Zavier Simpson 6-0 190 Sr 55 Eli Brooks 6-1 185 Jr 2 Isaiah Livers 6-7 230 Jr 21 Franz Wagner 6-9 205 Fr 15 Jon Teske 7-1 265 Sr 20.8 Michigan's roster is at full strength and they've played well despite dropping Livers is one of Michigan's best 3pt shooters Starting 2 guard Brooks has struggled with his shot in conference play Franz is the younger brother of former star Mo and has really come on in the last 5 games. Nebraska will have to work hard to keep forward Brandon Johns off the boards. Johns is typically the 5th option on offense and can clog the paint when paired with Teske DeJulius is guard depth Soph Adrien Nunez and Fr Cole Bajema are a couple of high ranked out of HS guys not currently in the rotation. Centers Austin Davis and Colin Castleton are both traditional post players used not only as depth for Teske but will also play with him. Michigan won't have any hangups about trying to match up with Nebraska's small line up. The Skinny: This isn't a particularly good matchup for Nebraska. Michigan runs people off the 3pt line better than most anyone and Nebraska is at their worst when they turn into a hero ball driving team. Offensively they're going to try and run everything into the paint but will be content to take open threes when Nebraska inevitably sells out to stop it. Feels like you're asking this Nebraska team if they feel lucky on Michigan senior night and the answer is probably no. Feels like we're due for a respectable night of FT makes or else some other little victory. While they most likely our looking ahead to Maryland, the Wolverines also still have a bad taste in their mouth from Sunday's loss at Ohio St. While Nebraska seems to show up when you least expect it, I don't expect that twist tonight. Prediction: Michigan 80 - Nebraska 63

  19. He probably won't end up at Nebraska but there would be a good chance he'd hit over 40% here because he wouldn't be the focal point of the offense here.
  20. Me waiting for a tweet that Kobe Webster has heard from Nebraska feels the opposite of me waiting for us to go to the FT line
