Moe's gotta go back to Nebraska for one last hurrah
-
Depends on if you can dial him back as he's a guy who has been leading Rhode Island in shots and assists for the last 3 years. If he's taking that many shots here were in the first day of the B1G tourney again.

He's from the North Carolina area and assuming he doesn't have something already lined up there, I'd bet that is where he ends up.

Lincoln – Nebraska men’s basketball coach Fred Hoiberg announced Thursday that special assistant Bobby Lutz is leaving the Husker program to pursue coaching opportunities. For the last two seasons, Lutz has served as the Huskers Special Assistant to the Head Coach, helping with game planning, non-conference scheduling and assisting Hoiberg and the Husker staff in the day-to-day operation. Lutz has won nearly 400 games as a collegiate head coach and helped his programs reach postseason play 22 times as either a head coach or assistant coach. Statement from Bobby Lutz When I agreed to join Fred at Nebraska as Special Assistant, there was positive momentum in the NCAA for allowing an additional person to actively coach during practice and games. That has not happened. While I have thoroughly enjoyed my time in Lincoln and will always be grateful to Fred for allowing me to be a part in building the foundation of this program, I miss coaching and recruiting. Therefore, I am leaving Nebraska to pursue coaching opportunities and look forward to the next challenge. We loved our time in Lincoln and met many special friends whom we will forever cherish. All the best. #GBR Statement from Fred Hoiberg Bobby has been a great resource for our staff the past two years and appreciate all of his contributions in helping build the foundation of our program in Lincoln. He has been a great sounding board for me at both Iowa State and Nebraska and has an outstanding basketball mind. He has a passion for coaching and wanted to get back on the sideline.

Wonder if he'll have any interest from TJ Otzelberger. If Otzelberger has a better offer he might go to ISU. We also just tried to cancel the Oklahoma game so we might not fill the position to save some $$

5'11" 165# PG Was elite at getting to the FT line this year, doesn't turn the ball over, first name is deceptive in terms of his physical dimensions
-
A guy can enter the transfer portal and not leave. Shrewsberry probably makes a run at these guys and might flip some back.

It wasn't Kobe. Here's the deal: I don't know if I have bad information or not so me dropping a name here is an exercise in starting an unverified rumor. I'm also waiting and I'm not searching it out because in this sort of deal I personally believe if someone has played for us they've at least earn the right to break their own news on something like this. Then the question is: why would I say anything at all. The point is to indicate that I think we'll have another scholarship available.

If anyone has $10mil to buyout Rick/set on fire, it apparently is Indiana basketball.

The average age and FT% of the team should go up with the departure of Yvan

We are in his top 13 -
He'd be willing to start too!
-
We just got a guy who is willing to come off the bench, can put up 20+ in a game, and is a free scholarship.
-
I'd rather see another swaggy gif
-
So I've heard a name but I'm just keeping quiet because I want to be respectful for a guy to announce on his own time. (and a guy can always change him mind) If nothing ends up happening I'll post the name.
-
Seems like it could be wait and see. The real mind blow here would be if one of them opted to transfer as opposed to either staying at Nebraska or being done playing college ball.

Yeah, you're right, not a super-apt comparison. He's more like the answer to the question of 'what would have Kobe King looked like on this roster'.
-
I don't think he is now. Maybe at 230-240#. Seems like we have the roster space to grab a fill-in post because I'd agree we're in trouble if we have an injury and need to roll out these stretch 4s at the center position in the B1G
-
Not sure how Brockington would fit in here as offensively he's the 6'4" 200# version of Shamiel. Harrar would be a good get. The only real downside to Harrar is that you might piss off your other two centers for a guy who will be here one year. Is Willhelm able to play the 5 next year? Wheeler is compelling. PG who doesn't need to shoot but can. Good defender. Seems to be a good leader.

Boy I was a dummy thinking that New Mexico was after Rick and not Richard Pitino. Rick has a $10 million! dollar buyout at Iona.
