  1. Hoiberg's best defensive numbers
  2. Chambers' mouth, actions, and his won-loss record got him fired
  3. HIs team won their conference
  4. Loenser is going to be on Sports Nightly tonight at 6:25
  5. Probably a mixed reaction if you add "2021 Staff Champion" to your signature line
  6. I think Matt A does all the recruiting so having Loenser in theory improves the pitch by being able to sell having a guy who's worked to improve a laundry list of NBA players.
  7. Miles is officially trojaN
  8. I couldn't remember either. I saw a picture of him on the bench when Rutgers was here so I think he was for at least some of them.
  9. Turns out that part of the reason that Robbins went to Minny was because his uncle, Ed Conroy was an assistant there. Conroy appears to be moving on and is linked to the Utah St job.
  10. FWIW Doc didn't travel with the team during away games after the pause.
  11. Turns out the rumor was true and Nebraska has landed former Bulls assistant and college basketball veteran Nate Loenser. Loenser will join the staff as a full time assistant, replacing Doc Sadler. Sadler will move into the role of Special Assistant vacated by Bobby Lutz. Hoiberg on the hire: “This is the third time I had a chance to add Nate to my staff and believe that he is the best player development guy I have worked with. He was a valuable member of our staff that won a pair of Big 12 Tournament titles in Ames. In Chicago, he did a remarkable job with our G League team in its first season, as we had more than a dozen players recalled or sign with other NBA teams. He has earned the respect of players around the league because of his ability to relate with players, and to help them reach their goals. We are pleased to welcome Nate and his family to Lincoln.” Loenser was immediately available for this job as he was let go by new Bulls coach Billy Donovan in October of 2020 as part of a shakeup of the staff. Prior to that time he served as an assistant under Jim Boylen and Fred Hoiberg in addition to being tabbed as the first ever coach for the Bulls expansion G League squad, the Windy City Bulls. The Iowa St grad got his start in the college ranks at Southern Miss during the Larry Eustachy era before making his way back to ISU during the Fred Hoiberg era to get his graduate degree. Loenser played baseball for the Cyclones and was a 4 sport star in high school despite being born with a partial left arm. View full article

  13. Trying to nail this down Are P6 schools considered as high majors? Is Marcus Zegarowski a combo guard? When is he planning to enter the transfer portal?
  14. Tim Miles goes 16-15 in year 3 and he's getting an extension; Pitino goes 16-15 in year 3 and he's getting fired
  15. I'll add that Jervay seemed like a Miles combo guard trying to exist in a Hoiberg offense where he didn't dominate the ball because Mack was the superior option. To me the Juco guy that I think of with Keisei is Dru Kuxhausen.
  16. Saves me the time to ask you if our chances were askew with Askew
  17. Hashtag Genetics
  18. Not sure if Woodson will work out at Indiana but his hiring did mean that a lot of people decided not to move on from Indiana
  19. Thought it would be a bigger impact
  20. Someone to keep your eye on. Was talking with Shaka at Texas who is no longer there.
  21. No one is going to steal this job from Miles so it's his if he wants it. He's a program builder and is one very much in need of building.
  22. If his 6'10" teammates are any indication, he's a legit 7'0"
  23. No idea what his turnovers look like if he has to distribute the ball. His TO% as a catch and shoot guy are good.
