We're bringing in Bryce, Keisei, and WIlhelm The guys I think we want/need back: Trey, Walker, Andre, Dalano, Lat That's 8 guys. If you look at those 8 guys as your starting rotation, then you have Trey, Bryce, Banton, Dalano, Walker with Keisei, Wilhelm, and Andre in your rotation. That's a starting 5 with a guy who hasn't played a minute of D-1 and that's a bench that is a center with 2 guys who haven't played a minute of D-1. When Hoiberg says they'd absolutely want Thorir and Kobe back, it's not lip service. I don't think the other 5 guys should go; I think that some of them should go because we need to fill out this roster. We absolutely need a PG. The other needs might be dictate by who might leave. For instance if Yvan leaves do we need a 3rd center or are we going to roll out Lat/Wilhelm if we have either foul trouble or injury.

For us, "No Attrition" is having just 2-4 guys that aren't going to change the course of the program transfer out. At minimum one guy has to go for us to get a PG.

Don't know if he specifically is the PG we want but appears to be the type of guy we would want, minus the height: Defensive pest, tenacious, can score but doesn't have to.

I don't know what happens to him in the future but this was the type of game where we could have used Akol Arop to play 10+ minutes and *get* rebounds. Remarkable we don't really have anyone else on this roster who can do that outside of Banton.

Almost positive Lakes counts as a schollie here next year if he comes back. The other two do not.

Yeah I think you'll see that with a lot of these media jobs unless Nebraska is looking to shed $$ on some of these contracts.

If you look at Stevenson's minutes vs Penn St you'll find that they are among the lowest he's played in conference; Yvan is the 3rd guy in a rotation that only plays if there is foul trouble and there wasn't. The only message I saw was that we were trying to win the game and playing the guys we thought would get that done.

Two completely situations. Stevenson has some usable talent but is a poor fit and Yvan is a good fit with underwhelming talent. The only message I saw was that he was playing the guys he thought would work in beating Penn St. Assuming Stevenson wants to play minutes next year it's a win-win for us if he transfers. Yvan may or may not be content with the role of emergency backup post player; it's funny how much our value of team loyalty can be dependent on playing time.

Hoiberg came out and said unprompted that the core of the team is coming back. Let's hope it's a couple of more pieces + experience in a hoiball offense + not playing a NBA schedule = .500+ in the conference

Can you imagine what this board would be like if Tyron Lue or Eric Piatkowski went 14-45 after 2 years? I can having gone through the ends of the Sadler and Miles era.

The amazing thing about the Fred Hoiberg era is that for the first 2+ years there is no amount of losing that would put him on a hot seat. I think it's a tough to win here and that in time he will get that done and it's nice we have a guy here that makes most everyone else feel the same way.

I hope they win enough games for Penn St to keep Jim Ferry
