  1. You're trying to convey that you think you possess the ability to assign specific football or baseball coach type roles to coaches and that in doing so you find everyone to be at fault and thus no one is at fault and we should just leave things as they are. It doesn't hold up if one has no insider info and it really doesn't hold up if one does.
  2. Nebraska Cornhuskers (9-21) at #10 Wisconsin Badgers (24-5) Date: Sunday, March 6th, 2022 Time: 1:00 pm Arena: Kohl Center Broadcast: BTN Wisconsin Info Head Coach: Greg Gard Location: Madison, WI Conference: B1G Nickname: Badgers Mascot: Bucky Badger Line: Wisconsin by 11.5 Rotation Depth: 8+ Last Game: Win vs Purdue KenPom: 26 Other: Wisconsin won by 8 in Lincoln though the game was never in question after the start of the second half. Bryce McGowens paced the way with 23 points. Brad Davison had another good game against Nebraska, pouring in 21. Player to watch: Johnny Davis Davis was decent as a freshman but has become a star in his sophomore year. He's currently top 5 in D-1 in scoring and has become a projected lottery pick in this year's draft. Unlike the first game, Nebraska will have Trey McGowens available to try and slow down Davis. The Skinny: Wisconsin is fresh off of big emotional win over Purdue on Tuesday to grab at least a share of the B1G regular season title. While Wisconsin can win the title outright with a win over Nebraska today, the fans won't be wearing matching shirts like they did on Tuesday. This is a game Wisconsin doesn't need to get and I'd expect their effort to reflect that. Nebraska, the team built to try and outgun opponents has been winning by....outgunning opponents. The defense has been so-so over the last 3 games; the shot making has been how the Huskers have won two consecutive home games. One thing that seems to be driving their scoring has been their collective resolve. At moments in the last few games the Huskers could have folded like they have most of the season; they haven't. Why this is happening at this point isn't as important as whether or not it will continue. Look for Nebraska to keep scoring. Will it be enough? It's an unexpected feeling at this point in the season like it could be against a top 15 team on the road. Prediction: Wisconsin 82 - Nebraska 75 View full article

  4. This harkens back to recruiting and the difference between stockpiling talent and building a roster
  5. I am not convinced we have a PG on our roster next year at this time. Needs to be a priority beyond just 1-2 year band-aid at some point.
  6. He used to think about it too
  7. This would be every fan base you would be loathing
  8. Part of it is because people have been inaccurately comparing him to Teddy Allen when the obvious comp was Bo Spencer Otherwise taking out frustrations on the leading scorers of a bad team is a time honored tradition.
  9. Likely to get Penn St in the opener
  10. sort of amazing how no one actually cares about this because it wasn't on aired Sunday afternoon on CBS
  11. No one is making that case about Gates because it would require a fundamental misunderstanding of the issues and/or how a basketball team works in general.
  12. You need to offer me a lot more money yours truly, rick
  13. Style of play and tempo have a lot to do with this list. Anytime Hoiberg has a single starting PG that guy is likely to crack this list.
  14. We should wait a few month until the owner stops looking for it
  15. Hope your friend is doing well. It might be as simple as you needing to stay in California until we cut down the championship banner.
  16. Seems like making Wisconsin beat you from 3 is the deal here. Otherwise, we'll have Trey to cover Johnny Davis in this one.
  17. Currently up to 32.3% from 3pt
  18. Zero people said 5 players because it seems like such an unbelievable number
  19. Might not happen. They changed the way they're doing audio and it's hard to pull now
  20. Do you have a time reference?
  21. One thing to consider that when MA isn't back here next year is that MA, not Trev, made FH not bring him back.
  22. Why not both?
  23. Gotta admit pulling this clip from last night was a total ego move https://huskerhoopscentral.com/pavelkatron/
  24. The logical conclusion here is that Trev Alberts should restructure Will Bolt's contract next week.
  25. Losing Trey was a blow but we were the type of team that lost to Western Illinois on opening night before that
