  1. penn st, iowa, and purdue seem doable... after that idk.
  2. neither team really has much to play for. this should be an interesting game.
  3. I think Creighton was his first offer. he had no offers until he had a huge growth spurt. He was already committed to creighton before we even had a chance to offer him. Pretty sad considering a big guy is the only thing missing for us right now.
  4. you realize how hard it is to make the nba? only 15 players per team, and 25% of the league is foreign players.
  5. WALTP43
  6. That's really my question for next year. Can he reign it back in with a better shooting squad around him like Gallegos did his senior year? I don't think Petteway will need to take as big of a step back as ray did. He just won't need to take multiple pull-up contested 3s per game.
  7. i thought he was taking some bad shots when i was watching the game last night, but then i looked at who else was on the floor.... benny, rivers, leslee, and shields. none of those 4 have been a threat to score from the outside this year. next year when we add White to the lineup, i don't think petteway will be forced to take as many bad shots.
  8. can't change the past. We have 3 4 star recruits joining the team next year. No reason to gamble on a local kid unless he wants to walk-on.
  9. hoping this kid grows some more. has a lot of skills.
  10. my expectations are pretty high for next year. I don't think it's a make or break season for tim's job, but there will definitely be enough talent to make the ncaa tournament on the roster.
  11. we played in the ncaa tournament less than a year ago. the fact the someone is even bringing up the possibility of miles being on the hot seat is ridiculous.
  12. Doc Sadler coached here for six years, as did Barry Collier. Neither ever sniffed the success that Miles achieved last year. Danny Nee didn't until his fifth year. Tim Miles should have til the end of the decade. Doc sadler was a bit of a hothead, bad recruiter, never made the ncaa tournament, and he coached here for 6 years. Miles should get at least 7 years unless things get terribly bad the next few years.
  13. No. I think Miles put all his marbles into the 2015 recruiting class, and i think it is going to pay off. We have 3 top 150 guys coming in next year. Miles still needs to land a legitimate post threat. it's the one thing he has not been able to accomplish in his 3 years here. Leslee maybe could have been that guy if he was 100% healthy, but i think we need a guy that is 6'9+ that is a legitimate double double threat.
  14. White will start for sure. Watson and Morrow could easily start. i don't know enough about mcveigh and jacobson, but i doubt they will be able to start.
  15. 3 games left in his career, and he decides to start putting up double/doubles
  16. I don't get it. There's no reason to play Rivers when Fuller is just as good with more potential.
  17. rivers is killing us. you can't touch a player when he's shooting a 3.
  18. if playing in front of phil jackson doesn't motivate you, i don't know what will.
  19. he will go to ohio state...
  20. We're adding 3 legitimate 4 star recruits next year. That reason alone season ticket interest should remain high.
  21. We weren't exactly a powerhouse last year. we won 19 games. not 25+. yes, most of the team from that 19 win season returned, but we really didn't improve our talent at all. Next year will be interesting because we return everyone once again, but we are actually adding in new players that i would consider very talented.
  22. I hope miles actually lets him play starters minutes. he needs the experience a lot more than rivers.
  23. 19 is probably a stretch, but i think it would be hard to leave out a 20 win big 10 team who won their last 7 games.
