pt 1. tarin and tai seem to be bigger threats on the offensive end, and we clearly need offense right now. would you start them? i would. p2. leslee has only played 7.5 minutes per game in our last 4 games. anyone else feel like he should be playing more?

We played about as well as we could have. A good win. It's not going to matter unless we can get some road wins though. whatever we did tonight should be done every game for the rest of the year.

tonight is the best we've looked all year, but Northwestern isn't exactly a powerhouse.

i'm seeing 7 1/2 point favorites. I still think we cover, but not by much.

we have talented players, but unfortunately they are shooting much worse than last year and turning the ball over at a higher rate. 3 pt % last year. 33%. this year. 29% turnovers per game last year 11. this year. 13. steals per game last year. 7 this year. 6. that doesn't seem like a huge difference, but it is when you consider that we've lost 3 games by 5 points or less. regardless of what happens the rest of the season, next year should be our best chance to make a run. I think everyone will be back including petteway.

leslee smith needs to start over rivers. we need a guy to throw the ball into if we are going to effectively beat the zone defense.

our zone offense: rivers takes up space in the paint so nobody can drive to the hoop benny stands in the corner shields and petteway take turns shooting at the top of the key pitchford just kind floats around and takes fadeway jump shots.
