Watson is not redshirting. He's the 8th best point guard in his class. wouldn't be surprised if he was a starter

I think the majority of us are on board with this signing but are worried this leaves no room to sign a defensive big guy that we clearly need.

This seems like a low risk high reward pickup. worst case scenario he's a 6'8 guy who can shoot. if we can add agau or another defensive big, we should be loaded for next year

Petteway has actually been worse than last year overall, so I would be surprised if he left early. He is a late 2nd round pick at best right now. I think it is more likely that Tai leaves than Petteway. Fuller could leave depending how much playing time he gets the rest of the year. Hammond might be a darkhorse to leave, but probably not.

I would have to say it doesn't seem like Tai will be here after this year. Glynn watson and andrew white will make it even more difficult for tai to see the floor next year To say tai is being misused makes no sense. We've tried to use him at point guard and shooting guard, and both have failed so far. He's shooting 16% from 3 and 35% overall. He turns the ball over way more than tarin or benny.

I'm wondering if benny and rivers should be on the floor together since neither is a threat to create their own shot.

with leslee and moses, it wouldn't be close. without them, we'd have a tough time guarding ubel and andre.

I'm having a hard time getting my hopes up. We weren't exactly dominating teams when Moses was playing. And if Leslee does come back, i have to think he will be on a minutes restriction and who knows how effective he will be after his 3rd serious knee injury. Obviously these guys would help, but I'm not sure if they can turn our season around.

Fuller spreads out the offense where Rivers just kind of gets in the way down low.

I think most people thought fuller would be the shooter that we needed. He played really well in the first half of the Incarnate Ward game, but he basically hasn't played at all since that game.

Did you expect to see injuries to Leslee and Moses? Because as I see it, that's more of a factor than the lack of execution so far. No, I think he expected to see more out of Leon Gilmore and Ricky Kreklow and is pissed at how his own team's NCAA tourney hopes are evaporating and so, to make himself feel better, signed up over here and figured he'd come rub our noses in a loss. in all seriousness, if leslee and moses had been playing all season we'd at the very least be 9-4. probably 10-3

I don't think anyone is dogging the players, but it's pretty clear our current 7 man rotation isn't good enough. Things could look a lot different if moses and leslee had been playing all season. Unfortunately, injuries happen and we are struggling because of them.
