would we get in the ncaa tourney with 19 wins?

if we can land a legit juco/transfer big man, we'll be a very good team next year. ( I feel like we've been saying this for the last 2 years)

Fuller has earned himself a start. think it's time to move on from the Rivers era.

Miles was too loyal to rivers since he is a senior and helped us get into the tournament last year.

Fuller and Tarin should be starting the rest of the year. Time to start looking towards the future.

Back to the main discussion... Miles better have some big guys in mind for next year. Purdue made us look very small inside and that was with moses and leslee who won't be here next year.

ehhh... both teams stink. I still think our future is brighter, and i like our incoming players a lot more.

i feel like benny playing 30 minutes a game is coming to an end real soon. Tarin is already just as good if not better IMO. Glynn might end up being better than both. Benny seems to limited to be playing 30 minutes. 15 minutes seems about right.

Miles is unwilling to stray away from the lineup that got us to the tournament last year. There's no doubt Tarin smith is better than benny, and I don't see how fuller could be worse than rivers.

it's hard to believe we could still finish with 19 wins not including the big 10 tournament. Hopefully these guys haven't given up on the season.

you know things are going down the toilet when half the posts on this site have nothing to do with basketball.

Benny is a safer option than tai at point guard, but at this point safe is not what we need. I would start tai because he attempts to make plays on the offensive end.

i don't care how bad the refs were. we still shot 22% from 3 and 35% overall. not good enough to beat wisconsin.

the problem is that shields and pitchford can't shoot 3s like they did last year, so we have to rely so much more on petteway. I agree that it's more important to get shields and pitchford going early, but they haven't proven they can shoot this year. 3 pt %: 20% for shields and 28% for pitchford. hopefully they learn how to shoot again in the offseason. mix in andrew white and we may see some different results next year.

We are only scoring 4 less points per game than we did last year. 67 down to 63 ray is gone and leslee has barely played. Those 2 accounted for 13 ppg last year. the new guys: moses, nick, tarin, jake, are scoring 7.7 ppg this year. so really, our offense hasn't changed much from last year. we need to recruit better scorers. Hopefully our incoming players will be more offensively skilled, and we can get over the hump next year.
