  1. roby played 15mpg last year and mcveigh played 23mpg. i expect their roles to be switched this year with roby probably playing closer to 30 mpg.
  2. i thought the rotations were pretty solid last night. a bit surprised to see borchardt make an appearance. would rather see more jordy and duby.
  3. need jordy to be better and shoot the ball a little better. otherwise things went about how i thought they would.
  4. i'm not going to panic. we shot terribly across the board. i don't believe we'll shoot 38-31-59 all season long.
  5. and beat illinois 3 days before that. so they have potential to beat good teams.
  6. EIU beat Missouri last year and has 3 of their top scorers back. they are a decent team.
  7. if roby plays like this we are going to be good
  8. roby and copeland on the floor together are matchup nightmares.
  9. it's sounding like 20 days house arrest in the hotel that they were staying at... i don't think china is going to come down hard on them given that his has become a worldwide story and they don't want to look bad.
  10. i'm not sure what good riley is on the sideline at this point. there isn't a nebraska fan that actually thinks he's coming back at this point.
  11. this is a fair ranking. we have the talent, but tough to say how good we'll be until we actually play some games.
  12. david rivers played 29 minutes in our ncaa tourney game. he'd be lucky to play 10mpg game on this team.
  13. isn't that how we got copeland though?
  14. with copeland being eligible and palmer looking good, things are going about as well as you could ask.
  15. i don't know if we are significantly better talent wise, but i think palmer/copeland fit in to what we are trying to do a lot better than tai/ed did. our spacing on offense is going to be much better based on what i saw in the exhibition footage. this year's team should be a lot more experienced as well with 7 upper classmen in our 10 man rotation.
  16. i don't think he'll redshirt. we have a lot of guys coming off injuries. playing time could open up. thorir will most likely redshirt though.
  17. palmer was probably the biggest question mark heading into the season, so it's a good sign that he played well. taylor getting 28 minutes and roby playing 16 min is worth noting. was hoping roby would be ready to start this year.
  18. i think palmer will start, but hard to pick him over watson as our leading scorer.
  19. wonder if this means the coaches think roberts isn't coming here. can't imagine we'd take 3 big guys in this class.
  20. yes. roberts also is a superior athlete. would not need to bulk up to effective right away.
  21. i still like our chances because we have the brewster connection, and i think he can play right away because heiman could redshirt and we will lose duby.
  22. i still hope this is the starting lineup: Watson-Palmer-Roby-Copeland-Jordy feels like the perfect mix of shooting, size, and playmaking. little worried jordy is not practicing. we need him in the best shape possible.
  23. i'm still a bit confused by arrests as well because it seems like more of an ncaa violation than breaking the law. I think there's more to the story that hasn't been released.
  24. he's leading the country in interceptions. his numbers were bad at tulane, and they are bad here. i don't think you can put much blame on the offensive line for throwing it to the other team.
  25. it really comes down to lee to stop throwing interceptions. if you cut his int's in half, we might be undefeated.
