it's sounding like 20 days house arrest in the hotel that they were staying at... i don't think china is going to come down hard on them given that his has become a worldwide story and they don't want to look bad.
i don't know if we are significantly better talent wise, but i think palmer/copeland fit in to what we are trying to do a lot better than tai/ed did. our spacing on offense is going to be much better based on what i saw in the exhibition footage. this year's team should be a lot more experienced as well with 7 upper classmen in our 10 man rotation.
palmer was probably the biggest question mark heading into the season, so it's a good sign that he played well.
taylor getting 28 minutes and roby playing 16 min is worth noting. was hoping roby would be ready to start this year.
i still like our chances because we have the brewster connection, and i think he can play right away because heiman could redshirt and we will lose duby.
i still hope this is the starting lineup:
Watson-Palmer-Roby-Copeland-Jordy
feels like the perfect mix of shooting, size, and playmaking.
little worried jordy is not practicing. we need him in the best shape possible.
i'm still a bit confused by arrests as well because it seems like more of an ncaa violation than breaking the law. I think there's more to the story that hasn't been released.
he's leading the country in interceptions.
his numbers were bad at tulane, and they are bad here. i don't think you can put much blame on the offensive line for throwing it to the other team.
