we would have won this game if we shot 40% from the field and 33% from 3. that's not asking much.

don't think they would have made a difference to be honest. jody and copeland put up 14 and 17. that's about what we were getting from morrow/jacobsen. shooting is where we are struggling. i suppose horne could have helped in that area. i'm not sure why miles didn't play him more last year.

borchardt has played in the 1st half of every game so far. that doesn't seem necessary.

all our centers are awful right now. just don't play a center

i agree this is where he ends up, and i think that makes it a lot tougher for us to get frost because we'll be competing with florida. florida has a top 10 recruiting class right now despite not having a coach. we have the 66th ranked class. hard to imagine frost turning that down.

we forced out a project and added another project is the point i'm making. and now the project we forced out is improving.

i still agree that he is probably an undersized forward. however, when i wrote that i didn't realize we were going to replace his scholarship with an even bigger project from iceland.

how is that the same? we forced aguek out by telling him to go to prep school. morrow left on his own. my point is that miles told aguek he wasn't ready to play here, but then goes and gets thorir who is not ready to play here. kind of confusing. and now aguek is getting some big offers, and he wanted to be at nebraska.

seen a lot of good things from everyone but jordy and mcveigh. it's hard to believe mcveigh played 24 mpg last year.

need jordy, watson, copeland to have big games. they've been disappointing so far.

roby should be starting but also needs to be aggressive. he has the skills to be the best player on the floor but doesn't act like it when he is in the game. he had a wide open jump shot at the free throw line where he hesitated for about 3 seconds before shooting it and making it. are the coaches telling him not to shoot? i give jordy somewhat of a pass for now, but if he's not 100% he should not be playing.

dropping aguek to get thorir is starting look bad...

roby should be playing a lot more. this team isn't as deep as i thought we'd be. the best players need to play big minutes and hope for the best.

it's a long year, but definitely not encouraged by tonight. watson and copeland were suppose to be the stars of this team and went 3-18.

jordy looks worse than last year which i didn't expect to happen. copeland does not look better than morrow at this point. watson had the worst game of his career. miles seemed to have no answer for st johns. not a good sign. terrible ball movement on offense, weak screens, and out of control when attacking the basket.

watson and palmer should be able to handle 35 minutes. they are upper classmen that should be ready for it.

having allen out hurts, but we should be fine as long as watson/palmer are ready to go.

had 8pts 5 reb, 3 ast, 2 stl, 2 blocks in a win vs bowling green. good to see him get a chance to play.

palmer with 11 points. didn't expect him to make this big of an impact so early.
