    these next 2 games seem like they could determine our post season. i think you have to win at least 1 to keep tourney hopes alive.

    he should not play tomorrow in my opinion. you can't miss 4 practices , 2 games, and threaten to leave the team.

    lol. how do you go from asking for your scholarship release to 'needed a mental break'. my guess is he realized he'd have to take 18 months off from basketball if he left and now wants to hang around a little longer. won't be surprised when he leaves in the offseason, which is why i'd rather just cut ties with him now.

    i don't want him back on the team at this point. he's playing bad this year anyways, and there's plenty of time to find a juco or grad transfer for next season.

    exactly. you have to stick with your best guys and trust they will break out of their slump.

    i'd rather go down losing with my best players in the game. mcveigh is not one of our best players.

    apparently miles likes when his starting players transfer? can't think of any other reason you bench your leading scorer.

    unless palmer is hurt, miles has some explaining to do. how does he sit the last 10 min plus overtime?

    jordy followed up his benching with his best game of the year. so benching him was the best thing that happened to him. miles should have done it a long time ago.

    even after the wisconsin game Jordy has the worst PER on the team. i'd prefer he stay because i still think he has potential to get better in the next 2.5 years. but i don't think its a huge loss for this current season if he does leave. borchardt and duby are probably just as good right now.

    lunardi only has 4 big 10 teams making the tourney right now. we may have to win 22 to make it. iowa was left out of the tourney in 2013 with 21 wins.
