  1. with revenue sharing, duke's roster will probably be making $20 million next year...essentially the yankees of college basketball at this point
  2. i think i read the max revenue sharing amount is $20 million. if you put half of that money into basketball you are going to have a top 25 team. if you put that money into football i don't see it making a huge difference given the roster size. just something to think about.
  3. does revenue have to be shared equally because i feel like football will get most of it if not...
  4. that makes the most sense to pay the top 3 players the most and fill in the rest of the roster with guys who simply want playing time. some guys would rather have the playing time in the big 10 than big NIL money
  5. unless berkshire hathaway wants to start paying recruits or high level transfers to come here, we are simply not going to get them. we are a dumpster fire of power5 program. the football team will be fine because of it's national popularity and revenue, but basketball will be extremely difficult to dig out of the hole. i would imagine it's going to be more 3 star recruits and under the radar transfers...
  6. this tournament has a good chance to stick. what college kids don't want a free trip to vegas in the spring? and with a cash prize it's going to draw some good teams every year and will be competitive.
  7. Does tim make it past year 4 if he had went 40-83 in his first 4 seasons?
  8. tim miles got fired after going 41-28 in his last 2 seasons. fred is 40-25 in his last 2. losing our best 2 players. what is the case to keep him?
  9. is he the first 2 year scholarship player to never play 1 second of a game? wasn't injured/suspended either.
  10. there is going to be no shortage of depth next year.
  11. this guy looks legit. like mast with more athletic ability.
  12. crazy we still have 4 open spots after replacing a large portion of what we lost.
  13. so basically as of now we are replacing allick/kesie/lawrence with worster/morgan/uhlis? personally seems like a downgrade in talent but luckily we still have more open spots.
  14. as it stands 4 of our top 6 guys from a 23 win team are returning. if we lose any of those top 4 it starts getting dicey.
  15. i would have projected him to start at the 3 with gary at the 4, but i also don't know what other transfers we are bringing in.
  16. ik this is mostly a joke, but not having flights here has to be a negative for recruiting.
  17. very odd. he played a good amount for a true freshman on a tournament team. offseason not off to a good start.
  18. this is definitely a transfer i'll be following post nebraska out of pure curiosity. he'll be starting his playing career at age 21 next season.
  19. I can't blame trev for wanting a 30% raise and be in the SEC. what else was there for him to do at nebraska anyways? he already hired his football coach and got the stadium project started. if anything his job security here could have quickly wavered if rhule puts up 2 more 5 win seasons.
  20. these gotta be the worst 1st round locations ever. outside of brooklyn you could not vacation to any of these cities.
  21. the good news is that losing to indiana wouldn't be a bad loss at this point where losing to penn st/mich would have been.
  22. i'll never forget fred benching him in the btt for walk-on.... we've come a long way in a few years.
  23. its insane to me that as of this morning most pundits had mich st ahead of us....no sane person can look at their resume and say it's better than ours.
  24. that is the best we could have hoped for...should be fun
  25. that's a really good draw if true.
