  1. i was surprised how good iowa was. that's not a bad loss. we're not beating any big ten teams shooting 4-26 from 3.
  2. not really. road game against a team that will probably be on the bubble in march.
  3. so much for being ranked. maybe its for the best we aren't. really going to need to beat rutgers
  4. this team just doesn't have a lot of weaknesses. it's going to be tough for us to lose two games in a row. hard to imagine we aren't in the tourney in some capacity barring some injuries.
  5. biggest win in nebraska basketball history? think you can make a case when you consider we are 13-3 and now in position for a top 5 seed. obviously a lot of games left to play.
  6. this 2nd half could very well determine our postseason fate. lets go!
  7. lol. oh. i had the wrong time.
  8. is this game not on the big 10 network? wtf
  9. is he really 20 already? he's not going to be any more ready than he is right now... https://basketball.realgm.com/player/Ramel-Lloyd-Jr/Summary/137406
  10. luka doncic was the euroleague mvp at 18 years old. some guys are ready to play from day 1. also why it is crazy to me that ramel lloyd may elect to not play his 1st college game until he's 21 years old.
  11. we shot 35/35/25 from the field and won by 16 against a possible tourney team. should be able to compete in any game we play but need more guys to step up on offense.
  12. there was no reason for him to redshirt last year.... he's a physically gifted guard who went to the top basketball high schools in the country, was a top 150 recruit, and had plenty of training. i am guessing his dad thinks he shouldn't take the court unless he is a starter...which means he'll probably be transferring to a lower level D1 school... i would think taking 2 years off is a bad idea...the experience and development he'd get even in a reserve role in the big10 conference would be more beneficial than taking another year off. I hope he just decides to play for us as i think he could be a difference maker...
  13. very odd, but hopefully this gets resolved one way or another by big10 play.
  14. how does a guy like this fall under the radar? 6'8 230 and can run the fast break and shoot 3s.
  15. we are 2 deep at every position, so just get best players available. pg lawrence, ulis sg tominaga, lloyd, hoiberg sf brice williams, wilcher pf gary, allick, rice c keita, mast but i guess ideally you'd want another guard who can handle the ball and a center. i'm not convinced keita can stay healthy for a whole year.
  16. he may very well improve, but if you look at his stats there's just nothing there to suggest he was gonna help us win games.
  17. he played hard, but he's too uncoordinated. a letdown based on how highly ranked of a recruit he was.
  18. there's no doubt he can be a good role player but if anyone thought he could come here and be the #1 option then you need to go look at his offensive numbers. he can't shoot or pass. good defender though and ok at driving to the hoop.
  19. would have been nice to have him, but he's simply not that good. he's delano banton but 4 inches shorter.
  20. i think fred will close the deal. they are both nebraska guys. fred has arguably more nba connections than mark few did. and he can fill the griesel spot right away.
  21. if we can add Sallis and another quality big guy, this would probably be fred's best team on paper.
  22. i feel like it's been pretty bad all around. i mean they just decided an elite 8 game on a touch foul that arguably wasn't a foul.
  23. gotta be happy for arop. taking out your home school who didn't want you.
  24. imagine this team sanogo scheierman griesel keyonte johnson chucky hepburn bench sallis tominaga walker lawrence bando gary
