He doesn't have any HM scholly offers yet. I do believe some were sniffing around last summer/fall and wanted to see how the season/AAU went, Nebraska and creighton included. He should be the best player in the state this next year, so the rest of the AAU circuit will be telling. Personally, id pull the trigger on an offer. He's always rebounded well for his position, can shoot extremely well from 3, and can score in a few different ways inside the arc. 6'5 175, so he'd need to put on some weight, but I'd pull the trigger. At the same time, I felt similarly about treyson Anderson last year, and he ended up at NDSU. Could be a similar situation here, but I do like his shooting quite a bit.

I'm curious how far off Bahl is from an offer from Loesner and the staff. The rebounding numbers stand out every time he plays, but I *think* teams may be bouncing him to the 4 to crash the glass? So far an Omaha and SDSU offer, but we'll see how the summer looks for him and what other looks he gets. @Jacob Padillagood stuff

Man I'm super excited about his potential. Can work on the block, can attack off closeouts, and has good IQ for a 4. He can bounce down to the 5, which can create some interesting lineups in game also. Biggest concern is getting his confidence and shooting back to where it should be. If he does, he's a walking mismatch. Defense I have questions about, but having a natural rim protector behind him, and a bulldog in Gary will help

I called my shot on this one a few weeks ago, and I will love if it comes to fruition

Achor is a pretty good fit and dream type guy, but I haven't seen much connecting him here yet. I think he was going to visit or had visited Auburn, but can't remember off the top.

Berke is at the top of my list, mostly because of shooting talent+ability to play 4 or 5. Not sure any of these fall in that category, but they all fill that 4 spot imo.

Offensive system we run is much more of a fit for him than Wisconsins, and they were a top 25 efficiency offense most of the year. Way they get their shots vs us fit his play style. Having positive size at that 2 spot also helps. I think one of him or Gavin need to take a leap to "day in day out contributor you can count on". Doesn't really matter who to me. There's reason to believe both could, but they just need to do it.
-
He will be. Maybe not initially, but as the season goes on, he's going to have a say in the rotation. I think he'll take ulis's spot personally, but could be Connors also.
-
He usually doesn't comment on someone unless there's legitimate substance.

Call me a prophet. I'm not sure what our chances are honestly, but I'm glad to see we're kicking the tires at minimum.

We'll see how the board develops for 4s over the next week or so. I think if they want a quality player, which I think they will be looking for, they have to move fast. They've operated very quietly this cycle outside of a few guys, so we may not hear about it until the night before or the day of/after. I do think there's quality still out there. Definitely. Just need to find the right *FIT* on the team. Which they've done pretty well these past two portal cycles honestly. Just need to nail this last one
-
I'm gonna plant my flag and say this kid is worth a flyer. I see the fit in Fred's offense at the 4 or small ball 5. Needs to improve efficiency from 3 specifically, but the idea is there. Top 50 kid out of HS. Having 3 years left helps too
-
I agree with everything you said honestly. To add to that last part, it may be worth taking a younger transfer that didn't play a lot at his previous stop, and convincing him to redshirt (see Niccolo Morreti for example. Bolis could be another guy that falls in here). A 4 is a need for sure. You can get away with bouncing Brice down to the 4 sometimes, or Gavin if he adds some muscle, but you want them on the perimeter ideally. Morgan likely lines up there too against bigger teams with Mast to create a 5-out with size look (assuming health checks out). It'll be interesting how they pitch that open 4 spot, because you are right about those guys not wanting bench roles. I think TJ power would've been a guy to look at, but he wanted to stay on the east coast it seems based on the visits he took.

William Kyle Transfer -> UCLA

odd man out was Berke. Id at least kick the tires and see what comes up. He has skill for the 4 spot. -
That would be nice. Clear skillet the team needs.
-
That's one I think I'd like us to kick the tires on. Him or toppin.
-
And AJ storr. And Tyler Wahls. And Connor essegian. That's 4 rotation level guys that they have available from the NIL budget
-
I think this guy, or saunders would be top of my list at this point. Santos has a gap over saunders though. Really like him. We'll see what guys emerge over the week. I think there's quality still out there, but just role guys at this level. Which isn't the worst thing, but need to set expectations to that. Meah I do think has upside. He's a prototypical rim runner/protector at the next level. Ft motion needs work though, he shoots with one hand basically lol
-
he was mentioned in here a while back. He's blown up since then and has quite a few HM offers. I don't know if he's coming out this year or next, but definitely something to keep our eyes on
-
He's one of the players in this lawsuit
-
Yeah wouldn't shock me. Could also see FAU. I'm not sure what Fred and co do here
-
Few things of note: Alvin Brooks, one of Baylors assistants, ended up at UK as an AC. John Jakus, another one of Baylors assistants, ended up the HC at FAU. Early November, looks like boyed had some kind of knee injury that forced him to miss the year (link below). He is applying for an NJCAA medical hardship waiver to get 3 years at this level because of that though. https://www.mccookgazette.com/story/3017504.html

Tall and seems to be a rim runner. Last year he had a very bad fall off from an all pac 12 defensive team season. Think he struggled with injuries. I noticed Howard and Luca followed in IG recently so at least kicking the tires.

With the new guidelines of grad transfers needing to enter before May 1st, there may be some more names enter between now and then that may have entered in the summer.
