I never doubted Miles would be successful until halftime today. Benching Watson today was stupid and it may have cost him the team. How can anyone who knows anything about basketball think he shouldn't start? Especially the guys on the team. It looks like he outsmarted himself and lost some player trust in the process. I think he should get another year unless the B1G season is an utter disaster, but count me among the skeptics now.

Sitting next to a Creighton fan who is every bit as annoying as the stereotype sans the sweater vest. He's also about 6'9" so maybe even a former player. He got less vocal as the first half wound down. I hope he's silent in the second half.

I think I would rather have Roby in the game instead of McVeigh in that situation for his quickness and ball handling. McVeigh is in for his FT shooting I guess. Roby did replace him after the two turnovers. Should have read the entire thread as others made this point.

I prefer to compare his frame to Kevin Durant, who seems competitive in the NBA despite his skinny arms. ☺

17 wins is very doable. Beating Ohio State at home would not be an upset, nor would Northwestern or Penn State on the road. Plus a game in the B1G tourney as a favorite and another against a 7-8-9-10 seed. That's five games with a good chance of winning. Only need 3 of those to get to 17.

The son of BJ or Amon I'm guessing? Amon Amon was a very smart player and played for a state champion team as a freshman, if I'm not mistaken. I don't think he started that early, though. If BJ's athletic ability and size had been combined with Amon's smarts and poise, it would have equaled a B1G player. Any chance this young man will get there?
