It sounds like with the new rules, this won't be a thing anymore. Everyone on the roster can be on scholarship. I assume basketball teams won't want 15 guys that expect to play so the old walk ons will be scholarship guys with a much smaller revenue share.

Southern looked like the intramural basketball team for a high level track team. Great athletes, not much skill, and not nearly big enough. Watching warmups it was clear they would be unable to match up physically.

Elf pajamas for me, my wife, and 2 elementary aged kids. Pretty easy to spot in the sparse crowd on Christmas Day and we got our 45 seconds of time on ESPN2.

We also went 10 years ago. The basketball was frustrating and games in the middle of the day twice hurt the tourism stuff, so I wouldn't necessarily do it again, but it was still the best vacation I've ever had. I also had a selfie with Miles, an embarrassing interaction with Adam Sandler on the street and was made fun of on the TV broadcast Christmass day because the family wore elf pajamas to the game.
