I must disagree...I think they will miss White quite a bit. I've never been on the Gessell and Woodbury bandwagon. Uthoff and Jok will have to lead the way and I just don't see it. I think athleticism wise...they are near the bottom of the Big 12 and that will hurt them. I hope I'm right, and youre wrong because I hate Iowa

Surprised tonight's game is on Big Ten Network. May hurt the crowd some but will be nice to watch the Skers on the tube.

For me...1. Development of the young guys 2. 8+ wins in the Big Ten...we have a favorable schedule this year. 3. Make sure Watson or Morrow does not transfer. 4. Use all the scholorships this recruiting cycle. I don't expect this to be a NCAA bound team...just not seeing it with the inexperience we have on the floor.

I don't trust Banker at all based on some things that have happened this year and his past. But, I also recognize the previous staff left the cupboard bare at some very important positions on that side of the ball. I like the class we have coming in and I think 2017 will be a very good class...need to finish strong on the recruiting trail this year. May need to hit the JUCO ranks to find some guys who can help at DE and Secondary for next year.

Thought Evelyn would be redshirting for sure this year...as I'm not sure where he fits in with our rotation but between this short video and last weeks scrimmage he needs to play.

I realize it's tough to do...I'm guilty of it...but you shouldn't let your hate for someone cloud your judgment when posting. 1. We will not be a +20 point dog to Mich St...not even close actually. We may lose by 20+...but the actual line...highly doubtful. 2. The sell out streak would have ended years ago if we let it....and we wont let it end next year either. We still do very well filling the stadium, and will continue to do so...but there were plenty of games I went to under Callahan and Pelini where there were quite a few empty seats. Nothing like you're going to see in the future. Nah, Nebraska fans will continue to show up and support their program. Maybe a couple more 3-9 more seasons and you may be correct...but Riley won't last if that's the case and then the fans will come out in bunches for the new coach again.

That's a pretty good lineup...I don't know anything about Northridge but Va Tech should be much improved by next year and the remaining teams are all big dance worthy.

The ranking system is a bit flawed...let's see where we end up. Not sure how badly this terrible record and fan uproar will effect their abilities to recruit but I think we will end up with a top 25 class. We shall see. There is going to be a pretty large roster churn in the offseason IMO. Riley needs to get guys on the field who will buy in....even if that means playing 24 guys who are underclassmen.

Watching the Watson/Morrow pick and roll will not get old in the next 4 years.

Last year I believe the staff did a taped practice for us to watch....thought it was pretty cool. Wish they would do that again this year.

No doubt the staff/Riley was on the downturn at Oregon State....which should be a cause for concern. Perhaps if we hired him in 2008 the hire would have looked much better on paper. Riley had knack of finding lower rated players and developing them at OSU....I think partly their recruiting numbers at OSU has to do with the program they were coaching at. My hope is Riley him finding those talented lower rated players for NU like he did at OSU but also mix in some higher ranked players that may be more ready to contribute right away. And we need players who can contribute ASAP in the worst way as we are not 3-5 bad...but our talent in some key spots is really lacking.
