Not sure, he was usually head n shoulders above others in his class when it came to athletic ability so maybe it just seemed that way. I had heard it was more of a graded Issue and the fact that his high school team isn’t known for traditional defensive concepts. he is getting quite a bit of love from the National writers right now though

No clue. In general I just believe prep school and a redshirt year are equivalent inless there are grade issues. Luckily they realized that w Heiman.

Harris has the looks of a difference maker too. Great length n defensive chops for a PG. Agreed. Best of luck to him if he does but It sure sounds n looks like it will be an uphill battle to rebuild the Pittsburgh basketball program.

Hopefully w a year to work on things and the right assistant coaching hire he gets that 3 point percentage up to the 35-37% range and gets that FT % into atleast the 70s. Some of his low percentage issues could be due to his high lights showing him taking a lot of tough shots too.

Would rather have Harris than Xavier. If he waivered once then he is likely to do it again down the road if things don’t break exactly how he wants

Sounds like w a good visit this week he is ours, he cancelled a visit he had scheduled to St. John’s. Shot 50% from 2 point land, 34 percent from 3 point land, and 63% from the free throw line last year. Has had quite a few programs contact him. W our recent success w similar wing transfers he could be big time for us after sitting out a year.

Did he reclassify? Everything I see says he a “19 prospect?

Is he an 18 or 19 prospect? Appears all his highlights are from 2016 when he was on the under 16 team

I could see Allen logging 10-15 minutes at the PG then 10-15 mins at shooting guard.

Technically 4 if you count borchardts scholarship. Maybe only 2 if Copeland comes back and you don’t wanna pull borchardts. Either way it would be nice to get immediate post play help along w possibly a future post player, a point gaurd for the future, and then take a gamble on Chang or wingett or someone else that has blow up potential IMO

35th pick in 2019. About filled my pants before I reread it to see it was 19 instead of 18. I would say w a good year he’s got a chance to crack the top 20 because I had only heard of like 2 of his top 20 guys and the rest were current high school players.

Finally got around to watching some tape on this kid. Boy o boy is he a willing defender and he seems really long for a PG. seems like he might be the second or third best athlete on the team if we were able to grab him. I saw some AAU tape and his three point shot didn’t look terrible in that. We are currently his biggest offer it looks like but w his recent rise in the rivals rankings I’m sure that will change. Would be quite the coup for miles to replace Xavier for what is considered a better prospect in Amir

Prep school is a joke to unless your grades aren’t good enough. We or any school in our situation would be way better off taking the prospects and just making them redshirt because they will get more outta it. his height at 6 foot to 6 foot 1 inch is no big deal either if he can play ball
