Interesting take with our last current scholarship -
I thought we had a chance to approach 15 wins before Stevenson was ruled ineligible. We are probably just outta gas now and the loosing streak has gotta be weighing on them. Not to mention we have 3 or 4 of the top 5 guys in the big ten in minutes played? The perimeter/ 3 point defense has become a bit of a concern the last few weeks but some of that has to do w constant double teams in the post

Pretty safe to say he will likely be in the transfer portal in the future.
-
Let me rephrase it. He won’t leave unless he’s asked to. Wouldn’t make a whole lot of sense to sit a year to play a year unless he wanted to transfer down a level

Think Texas is tired of getting “Shaka’ed” -
Burke I’m guessing will graduate and be able to grad transfer if he wants. Ivan or cross or likely both will be looking at less minutes next year. Never know on Arop if he gets buried on the depth chart like he was before Curtis left and kavas got injured. Only two guys I would say for sure come back are easily and green.

I have no clue, that’s just how things work these days. Plus we are Nebraska, guys we think are locks to return when seasons end find a way to end up leaving.
-
A few of these guys are likely not gonna be on campus in ten months

2020 PF Juco Lat Mayen - Signed

I don’t think we need either to be “world beaters” more so just capable pieces of the rotation. As long as Mack,Thor, cross,Ivan come back next year our rotation should be pretty solid I think -

The idea of a husker making 8 outta every ten free throws they shoot seems like a dream. To think teddy Allen might be able to make 9 outta every ten has me giddy. -

Let’s hope he doesn’t end up at Minnesota or in the big ten at all -
He’s a pretty fluid player the way it looked while I was watching
-
They deserve more playing time because we haven’t won in a month and they both “should” be back on campus next year. I can’t say say i see them ever being more then role players though. On a competitive team cheatham would be a good role player. Do you see easily or arop ever being better than cheatham in their careers?

Very true, it’s why I don’t get some of the bad mouthing of Ivan and cross. Both will be much improved next year as long as they return to campus. Ivan just need to develop some hook shots and floaters around the rim. Cross is basically already what we want on offense, just needs to become more consistent.

Quite amazing Thor has went from a guy I couldn’t believe we were gonna use a scholarship on too the guy I have the most faith in on the team. A true testament to what hard work and effort can do for a player. Not to mention the affects of good coaching

2019 SG Matej Kavas (Grad Transfer) - LOI
B-town hoopsfan replied to jayschool's topic in Husker Hoops Recruiting
He would probably still get abused some nights but I’d be interested to see cross not having to play defense on opposing fives every night. He’s by far the best freshman I can remember us having in my decade of following this team.
