Best part of the whole post. I just don't understand why we've burned his redshirt this year. Granted, this could be completely his decision but I hate seeing kids lose a year over just a couple of minutes or a single minute (i.e. Borchardt). If the season continues to go south, hopefully they make a concerted effort to get him some meaningful minutes down the stretch in conference games. Let him get some on the job experience this year and then bulk up and refine his craft in the offseason!

Too bad there weren't CBA rules in place and we got a half win for winning the second half . At least we showed a competitive spirit in the second half. Oh, and I took Nebraska +3 in the second half, so not a total loss

Alcohol improves my game but I'm not sure that's the answer you are looking for. It's really going to take patience and another recruiting cycle or two to get this thing rolling in a more favorable direction. We have (3) sit out players this year and depending on who you listen to, they could be the best 3 on the team or at least 3 in the group of 5 starters. I think a big goal for this team this year is to learn's Fred's offensive and defensive sets and to show improvement as the year goes on. Improvement may not be measured in wins and losses but in just the overall quality in play based on the eye test. Year 2 should be quite a bit better but I'm much more optimistic about how this thing takes off in year 3.

Let's stay optimistic and note that, according to KenPom, there are roughly 200 teams worse than we are right now!

Yeah, F the NCAA and their non-sensical rules. Lets not punish the likes of North Carolina for blatant academic fraud but punish a kid for trying to find a new home after two different coaches he committed to left. On the glass half full side, this team should be pretty darn good in year 3 when these freshmen and sophomores and sit out transfers are upper classman. But still, F the NCAA!
