Funny story...we are in Memphis and were walking back to our hotel last night after dinner. Out of nowhere, Tominaga and Burt came zooming past us on electric scooters. We of course told them Go Big Red and Tominaga, as always, was smiling as if he were having the time of his life. I left the encounter praying he didn't crash on his scooter. I've heard of no crash this morning so I believe my prayers were answered and I can claim a small piece of this victory today!

Dropped to 29th after all games yesterday but am impressive 6 spot jump in the Net to #31 and up to #22 in SOR . I would be surprised if we are lower than a 7 seed at this point and one more win in Minneapolis should clinch it.

Flew up to Minneapolis with my son today for the game. That was such a fun environment. Husker nation really represented. I am sure.it came across well on TV but we easily had the biggest contingent of fans amongst the four teams this afternoon. That 17-0 run was electric and surreal. Can't wait to pay back Illinois tomorrow. GBR!

FYI that as long as Mich St. remains in the top 30 of the NET then it will remain a Q1 home win. They would really have to get blown out in their first game to potentially drop that much. Wisconsin, Mich. St. and K. St all appear to be relatively safe in Q1. Our first game in the Big 10 tournament will be Q2 if it's against Indiana or Penn St. and a Q3 if it's against Michigan (seems unlikely!).

Or both! It's ok to be greedy... we've earned the right after decades of suffering!
