  1. I still believe the committee would do everything in their power to not put a 7-10 seed in a significant geographic and home court advantage over a higher seed. That being said, if we were to somehow end up in Omaha, pen us into the sweet 16 on your brackets!
  2. Here's the easy math...4 regular season games left + 3 in the Big 10 tournament + 6 in the NCAA tournament = 13 games remaining. He only needs to average 8-9 makes a game to break Cochran's record and 3-4 makes a game to move into 2nd all time.
  3. Man, where was this technology when I was in English class in high school!!!
  4. Feels like we are witnessing the beginning to the end of the world. The apologies are nice now but wait until this bot gets pissed off and sends the Terminator after you. The zombie apocalypse has nothing on what's coming. Thanks for ruining my day

  6. Up to #38...had to refresh about 100 times but it finally updated
  7. I would like to apologize for anything even slightly negative spoken about Jlaw
  8. Fred calls timeouts two possessions too late consistently
  9. You forgot the "1" in front of the 7. This will be remembered as the Beatdown in Bloomington. I will accept all checks, money orders,. crypto or any other form of electronic payment to predict your future
  10. Taking six weeks of road frustrations out on Indiana and it is absolutely beautiful. What an unselfish and unbelievable half of basketball. Only one word needs.to be said at halftime. FINISH!!!
  11. Yeah, if we go 10-0 at home and 0-10 on the road, I would think at best we are being slotted into Dayton. That's a quandary I am not expecting or hoping we don't put the committee in. That also means we would lose our final game of the year at Michigan and that would just be a brutal loss to take for the optics and narrative alone. We would get a lot of negative national bubble talk attention which would obviously not be good.
  12. I could have sworn I read somewhere else that it was Olivia who was out for the rest of the year . In any event, we would have beat them at their place even if they had Olivia, Oliver and/or Olivier.
  13. My guess to what Lunardi is implying is that there is a decent gap between the teams in his "Last Four Byes" versus the teams in his "Last Four In" and "First Four Out". In the unlikely event we lose tonight, I would be very surprised if we dropped out of the "Last Four Byes" in his next update based off my interpretation of what he is saying.

  15. There are so many nuggets in the 2H of the Wisconsin game. My favorite comes at the 10:40 mark of the 2H (2 hrs 24 minutes into the radio broadcast) where you get a possessed Kent calilng a CJ make "It is goooooood, it is goooood" You also get a very high energy and possessed "How about these Huskeeeers". Very good stuff from Kent in that 2nd half!
  16. Well, he certainly doesn't appear to have gone to Penn St. to play school and unfortunately he will probably fail at the game of life. Hopefully he can carve out some sort of career overseas if this college thing isn't for him.
  17. We could conceivably be 21-4 before we play in the final four in April
  18. Lawrence was really, really solid today. The one man fast break on a couple of occasions was a thing of beauty to watch. So happy for him that he has really embraced his role off the bench and is thriving.
  19. Nice jump to #42 in KenPom after a solid beat down of Penn St. in the 2nd half. I am sure there will be other movement today but Nebraska did what they needed. Beat the beatable teams by a lot!
  20. I like your strategy. Stick the two 7 year olds in the 300 section and try to get a lower level ticket for yourself. At least, I assume that's the play here. Otherwise you have to pick your favorite child to sit with and stick the other 7 year old somewhere else.
  21. We've had luck going down to the corner where the players stretch with the elastic bands and do weight work. My boys got a half dozen autographs and pictures a few years ago. Good memories.
  22. Yes, a great result there. UCLA is a looong ways from the bubble. For some perspective, they are 109th in NET, which is only 5 spots higher than dreadful Michigan. They are also 0-6 in Q1. They will most likely need to win the Pac2 tournament to get in.
