  1. Yeah, I would say 12-31, .387 is something to keep an eye on.
  2. I haven't watched this guy enough to have much of an opinion. I was curious to see his free throw percentage. Hopefully Lawrence will dramatically improve his free throw shooting, but if he doesn't he can't be in close games toward the end. FWIW, Ulis shot 18-20, 90% his first year at Iowa, 38-48, 79% his second year, and 29-41, 71% his third year.
  3. I vote no on Parker Freidrichsening this guy.....
  4. Washut also thinks Wake, and soon. Getting Hunter's mom on board was alwasy gonna be tough. I'm OK with it.
  5. No. Patience will be required. A ways to go. Oline is bad. Very bad
  6. Damn, that’s some fancy stuff right there. Have no idea what you said, but it seems impressive.
  7. His source is good. Never has a few fluff quotes during a redshirt year taken on such a life about a guy.
  8. Actually.....the tax filings required by NIL are a new thing to many of these guys. Our NIL volunteers give them help, but they aren't completely compliant....
  9. I don't think so. I think this would have happened regardless of any portal activity by us.
  10. Should be a shock to exactly no one
  11. Who would they ask who might have any kind of an answer? Amy is notoriously controlling about the degree and timing of any program information. Soundbite tweets with platitudes, but nothing revealing or insightful. I suppose that is her right, and she’s certainly is not the first or only Coach to treat the media, and indirectly the fans, that way. I suppose Goehle was, as were certain injured players, “day to day”.
  12. Maybe that's why some NIL calls were made today.
  13. I wouldn’t take these quotes at face value
  14. Per Washut Hugley is no longer visiting and that ship has sailed.
  15. Hugely is not gonna happen; no longer visiting.
  16. Agree with that
  17. Yeah, the only time that gets complicated is when CU plays Iowa....
  18. Neither Wrightsell or Sallis are a point guard. And from what I've been told, we aren't getting both of them. One at most.
  19. All hail @Huskerpapa
  20. I say validating Huskerpapa EDIT: Well, that will still happen!
  21. At the risk of brevity in responding, we lost our best 2 players, and best defender, on an 11th place team. We need more than a couple key pieces to have substantially more success. Fred wants more than 2 from this portal season.
  22. Hey, I've actually seen the Shims Shammers in a state of partial undress in the locker room. Big mistaken entry into forbidden territory. 30 years ago, and I'm still traumatized.
  23. That was done a while ago. I'm gonna go out on a limb and say Derrick plays in Europe....let's say...Poland.
  24. There was some great basketball played by ridiculously talented players. Would hope we wouldn't need it to flirt with being an all-star wrestling event. Individuals drawing attention attention to themselves, such as a coach dressed like a pink flamingo impersonating Elton John. I'm sure it's just my generational challenge showing up again, but this (Reece over the top taunting followed by days of doubling down comments; Clark doing her thing to a lesser degree) depresses me. It will become a new standard, and we will see much more of it. And in my old man views, athletic competition will be lessened because of it. Do the strutting visuals in the Reece/Clark stuff take it to a different level than the Bird/Jordan smack-talking days? Did Rodman degrade anything long-term? I'm trying to be reflective on it all, but I can't get to "this" deserving of praise at worse and "it's cool; it grows the game" at best. Damn, another cloud that needs a fist shake.
  25. 80%. (key word "guess" ). Last I heard odds were high in favor of him returning, but I haven't heard anything in a couple of weeks.
