  1. What about the head coach at Brewster Academy? Keeps some guys from leaving, brings some guys in. Win win
  2. I ro As someone who is a Husker basketball fan first an foremost, but also cheers for South Dakota State. (My fiancé has two degrees from Brookings) I've been programmed to hate USD. Our cat's litter box is called Vermillion, though sometimes I call it Creighton's west campus. I saw Mooney play 3 times at USD and it's no doubt he was there offense. But I also feel like he wouldn't give us anything to offer especially if Palmer comes back. We need to keep growing our 3 point efficiency to help with the dribble drive. Mooney's a slasher but we need more outside shooting or a power forward for the future
  3. I'm totally in favor Copeland and Palmer going to test the waters. I'm hoping the intent is to come back to Nebraska if they come back to college basketball. Will be interesting to see how we approach recruiting. I'm hoping Miles and the staff are in better communication with these guys than in recent years
  4. Hopefully we watched this game licking our chops. Role players for Michigan logged a few more miles than they probably would have liked, and Iowa put some doubt into their minds. Get Hungry Nebraska.
  5. It took them to the 2nd OT to get to RRRRRRUNZA level
  6. My sentiments exactly. Is there any correlation to our low perception nationally and the fact most of our games were regionally broadcasted via BTN
  7. Watching the Texas vs Kansas game and shockingly Dickie V and an interesting nugget. In the last 26 years only 2 teams have made the tournament with a conference record 4 games below 500. Baylor, Texas and Syracuse all have that possibility
  8. There's plenty of opportunities for the teams ahead of us in Lunardi's fantasy factory to lose. I have no doubt our team will be locked in on Friday
  9. Let's get this place hopping. I don't plan to sit all game and I've ran 10 miles this weekend in preps for the lincoln half.
  10. It's annoying watching Louisville. They have these huge allegations that cost to vacate a championship, they're listed in the thick of this FBI investigation, and yet they can not only compete but be ahead of us in most bubble watches. This is why the NCAA needs to work faster. The kids that are being punished immediately are the ones currently at programs doing things right.
  11. Providence escapes and now Seton Hall going to OT with St. Johns. Big East is the Big Least in my mind. It's time Providence starts to go down in the bubble watch.
  12. I'm in! Or is it I'm N?!? Let's do it right. Show up early. Stay past the final buzzer. Support the Railyard first. Celebrate like the bench mob. Make the tshirts. Paint up. Tell your neighbors. Tell your family. College kids camp out. And please please NO JAYSKERS!
  13. I feel like someone recently told us losing to the worst team in your conference is bad for the bubble
  14. If anyone can breathe new energy into this idea it's Jack McTrey! We neeed that place going nuts on Sunday. Bang-a-rangs all over the place. If I had a was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor speech in me I'd do it right now
  15. PAC-12 so deep.... NOT!!! Washington should be done if these nerds can keep their feet on the gas
  16. Lunardi is becoming more of joke by each bracket out there. Baylor loses but jumps in bubble watch. Texas only moves a few spots. Penn State loses and jumps ahead. Bro are you even watching basketball or are you just doodling in your bracket bunker?
  17. Pitino looked a little bit like Pelini there for a second
  18. Same Husker pullover and tshirt with red adidas sneakers. That's more of a ritual than a superstorm. Back in the Bob days there were way more rituals. If I'm watching at home and the game is close I might crouch into the Tim Miles sideline stance
  19. It's always nice to have a 7 footer in a recruiting class but the 2 guard position needs to be addressed next year. Gill and Taylor both leave a need for a taller guard with Watson, Allen and newcomer Xavier Johnson being right at 6 feet. Ideally you would hope development of Thor and Nana would have them ready for next year but it's definitely a question mark. But yes another 5 would be nice too ?
  20. Watched a couple YouTube videos of him and I'm impressed. He definitely looks the part. I don't think he's a stranger to the weight room. His jumper looks nice and he's not afraid to cut to the basket. Didn't see a whole lot on the defensive side. Not saying he's not a good defender but it didn't make his highlight real. Definitely looks deserving of the attention
  21. This team doesn't quit. This coach didn't get a foolish tech. Defense played so well down the stretch!
  22. Happ is getting Lebron calls
  23. The way they are officiating Jordy and Happ is criminal. I feel like I need my Stephen A. Smith thesaurus. It's assanine assaten assatwenty
