Thought I'd get one started.
Just got done watching Iowa pull one out in OT against Temple. Nice push-off by Woodbury
I also watched MSU lose to Middle Tennessee State, a game that brought back haunting memories to me of Nebraska losing to Xavier in '91. Sparty never led and the Lightning made big shot after big shot to always keep them at arms length.
The '98 game we got the closest to advancing. I think we had something like a 10 point lead with 7 minutes left and all the momentum, but then Arkansas couldn't miss.
I somehow got the impression that Miles wanted to keep playing so the team, particularly the freshmen, could get more experience. Assume Eichorst has final say, maybe he didn't want to spend the $$. Then again maybe Miles agreed and its best for all.
I only hope that we can push FORWARD and find this missing component. If we do, then I think that we might be the CENTER of attention in the Big Ten
Wait, I'm not following.
"If you saw Gill during a home game, you may have noticed him whispering in White’s ear during a timeout, or say something to Shields, or encouraging others."
This I have noticed, and it's great to see.
Can't have any more scoring droughts. We've had our fill of them. If we start having another scoring drought tonight, I want to see Miles use all of his time outs in a row, right before a media time out. Kill the other team's momentum, and get our kids' heads cleared.
