Creighton has owned us for awhile. I doubt any team goals were derailed last night. With regard to team defense, we miss some departed players. Ruby, Scoggin, Cayton, and even Brown brought needed energy to the floor. Bella was a stud. Others need to step up. When Sam returns, and MM joins the team, that should help. Like most years, buckle up. BBall seasons are unique roller coaster rides.

You might get a discount ($12.50 monthly rate), through this Creighton discount link. It looks available to anyone, but could be wrong. https://flosports.link/3yyHbcn

Radio for me too. I think there is a lesser monthly plan @ $12.50 a month. Still too much of a hastle. GBR

Agree. I think Weidner has caught up to Jazz. I really like how she drives to the bucket and crashes offensive boards. Questionable competition, but Izzie and Markowski are feasting down low. Also liked the way we made the mid range shots. We don't have to live by the "3". Do you think Brady/Krull will get first shot on Jensen? Maly by committee? (Brady, Krull, Coley, Stewart, Moriarty?) I hope we approach "D", intent on helping Markowski and Izzie avoid foul trouble. We will need big minutes from them. It won't be easy, but should be good prep for the B1G.

I think the student announcers turned their mikes off during a time out, and forgot to turn them back on. Didn't affect watching the game any. Curious if they will figure it out before the 2nd half starts. I like the effort the Huskers are getting from the bench, Coley and Moriarty in particular. Looking for Krull to warm up this half.

I don't disagree. We lost Cravens (big loss) and Tatiana Pope (another roster spot). Not sure what our scholarship numbers are, but you would think there was room for another body. Having room, and finding a good fit, probably easier said, then done. Throw in the Covid year, not sure we lose anyone this year (other than Sam). We need to have room for some new recruits or transfers. Roster management probably turns hair gray. Not an easy task.

33- 9 third quarter.

Nice half. Good team effort. I'm surprised Shelley only has 2 rebounds. Seemed like she got several in a row, early in the game. Trinity looks healthy. She provided excellent help defense. Izzie, Weidner, Markowski, Jazz, all in good form. That was fun.

Allick was the 6th rated player in the 2022 class (also rated the number 1 middle blocker). Mendelson reclassified late to this class. She might still be 17 years old, not sure. It was her choice, to play both sports. If not allowed to play volleyball, she would be wearing some other schools jersey.

I agree with much of what you say, but, it won't be hard for me, to not cheer for them. This isn't an 'across the board, hate Iowa' thing'. I'm not a fan of this Iowa WBB team. And yes, Clark is a big part of that. FWIW, I enjoy watching the 'clones WBB team play.

As Whoopdeedoo mentioned, I too wonder why surgery didn't take place until late last week.

I get the same notices monthly. No auto renew as stated. Are they hoping we'll choose the annual plan to avoid the hastle? A bit annoying, for sure.

Similar here. I run it through Roku on my big screen.

Started the B1G+ subscription earlier, to watch some volleyball matches. Also caught the men's BBall game Sunday. Service seems OK so far.

Who knows. In a couple of years, her mom will be an 'empty nester'. Maybe the Lady Huskers could find a position for her on their staff. NIL might be another attraction, here at home. Fingers crossed!

If Oregon was added, sure would be a boost to the conference Track & Field programs. -

Regarding football, found this info on the web. Won't be a simple process to join another conference. ESPN's contract with the ACC runs through 2036. That grant of rights deal includes language that if Irish choose to join a conference in football before 2036, they are contractually obligated to join the ACC. -
Absolutely nothing to base this on, but I sense a future in coaching for this young lady. Didn't it seem, she was always engaged in some capacity, the entire time she was injured and unable to play? I only have game day sidelines as reference, but she looked involved. Happy BDay Trinity.

2022/23 WBB Big Ten Match-ups! (And Non-Con Schedule)
12dozen replied to Red Don's topic in Row 6 Seat 10
More of the same, just another version ... Nebraska women’s coach Amy Williams may be looking at the best team she has had in her seven seasons running the show. The Huskers will get the chance to prove it against a loaded slate. Nebraska is ranked No. 22 in the ESPN preseason rankings and No. 20 in the way-too-early rankings released right after the 2021-22 season ended. It returns Alexis Markowski, the Big Ten Freshman of the Year, plus All-Big Ten players Sam Haiby, Jaz Shelley and Isabelle Bourne and starting guard Allison Weidner. That strong core group will face off against No. 6 Iowa, No. 15 Ohio State, No. 18 Maryland and Michigan, which reached the Elite Eight last season. The Huskers will also match up with Michigan State, Northwestern, Penn State, Wisconsin and Illinois. Those are their home games, but they will travel to face No. 12 Indiana as well, in addition to games at Minnesota, Purdue and Rutgers. The double-play opponents are Iowa, Maryland, Michigan, Northwestern and Illinois While football and men’s basketball are each in make-or-break years under Scott Frost and Hoiberg, the main women’s programs in the fall and winter months continue to surge. It remains to be seen if there will be fireworks for the men’s programs, but the women figure to put on a show a few months from now at the Devaney Center and Pinnacle Bank Arena. -
I wonder when our local NIL businesses will start showing Britt Prince some Husker love? Different times for sure.
