I'd like to see the NCAA make that type foul a potential Flagrant 2. -

The only mention I've read is from the Michigan preview on Huskers.com; "Markowski battled illness during Nebraska's road trip to Purdue and Indiana". Hopefully, we're good to go. -

I mentioned in another thread; Peacock has a special at the moment, subscribe for $29.99 (basic annual). -
I see the MIchigan game tomorrow is on Peacock. If not already subscribed, they have a special going at the moment, $29.99 for an annual subscription (basic plan).

Relieved we got out of there with no serious injuries. Looked like Purdue brought out their version of Thug Ball towards the end. Prince got clobbered a couple times. Tough kid.

Was that Hargrove's dad and sister sitting behind the team? They were wearing her number. Assuming yes, the little sister was really focused. Maybe a future Husker?

Penn St (9-5) VS. Nebraska (10-4) Game Thread

Markowski with 10 rebounds, 13 points, 3 blocks, and ZERO fouls. Not sure I've ever seen AM with a zero foul stat line. Hake with +22 is another statistic that seemed to stand out to me. Wasn't the prettiest win, but sure beats watching the West Coast games. -
South Dakota (0-3) vs. Nebraska (3-0) Game Thread

Potts could run the Energizer bunny into the ground. That kid is amazing. And Prince, the skies the limit. -
I think Rimdal will be a valuable piece to the puzzle before all is said and done. Bozan, for a last second addition, looks like a steal. Really like her potential. I also like Hargrove. She just needs experience. Addition of Prince, and the return of Weidner, should make for a competitive team in a 'tough as nails' conference. Buckle up.

If I read the schedule correctly on Huskers.com, including the Doane game today, there are 19 Husker WBB games scheduled on BIG+. Sounds like a pain, but resolving your password issues will be worth the effort. Good luck. GBR

I hope it is as easy as it appears. Will be a good opportunity to ease Weidner and Nissley into the rotation, while giving plenty of minutes to newbies Prince, Rimdal, and Hargrove. Also could work on a small ball line-up. Keep Markowski as fresh as possible for the BIG.

Another WBB article today in the LJS. Basically, NU in no hurry to wrap up 2025 recruiting. They will continue to find a good mix of incoming high school players and transfer portal players. Sounds like they recently held a camp and several players left with offers. I don't think specific players were mentioned. Maybe local newspapers are upping their coverage? The Lincoln Journal Star has a Promo going at the moment. You can subscribe to their digital newspaper for an introductory rate of $1 for 6 months.

Good article in the OWH today. (Brent C. Wagner) After summer workouts and approximately 15 practices, it sounds like Prince is exceeding Coach expectations. Hargrove also impresses. Kennedi will redshirt. Also, Weidner and Nissley recovering nicely from injuries/surgeries.

Use USC24 or UCLA24 as the coupon code. It worked for me this morning.

I took a look at last year's schedule for the men. They played at Sioux Falls. The schedule said; "Watch on Peacock". Might be the same for the women this year?

What is there to cover? Are they hosting events? Do they share information regarding official or unofficial visits of recruits? Is media invited or allowed at workouts? Do they hold press conferences to give updates? I don't know. Perhaps Sam could shed some light?

Other than the news Whoopdeedoo shared, the last news I read regarding Husker WBB; Jaz was drafted, Jaz was cut, and Jaz held a small bball camp before heading back to Australia. Lights out?

Maybe staff went on summer vacation in March. How would you know? I mostly read LJS and OWH. Even with that limited access, I read of the efforts Hoiberg has been making to build his roster. You read articles daily how the football team is chasing recruits. They promote their programs. WBB? Have read very little, if anything, since we gave our coach a contract extension. The silence is deafening. With the roster improvements existing teams have made through the portal and recruiting, and the addition of the new teams to the conference, I'm concerned. I hope I'm wrong. As mentioned by others, there is still some time to bolster the roster through the portal. Fingers crossed. Honestly, I find more information on this small site regarding Husker WBB, than anywhere else. Yet, that isn't much. Wish more was shared. GBR

The Oilers almost gave the late game away. The playoffs have been good TV.
-
Jensen has waited quite awhile for the opening. Timing seems right.
-
Markowski as a freshman with Issy and Bella wasn't too shabby.
-
I'd like to see it. Not sure she would be a lot of help, but she does have the size and competitiveness. If nothing else, we might sell a few more tickets.
-
Agree. Not just transfers, she seems to prefer a smaller roster. Have we ever used our allotted number of scholarships? I hope it is preference, and not an issue with recruiting players. As mentioned, time will tell.

If she had concentrated on bball growing up, Rebekah Allick might have been a force in the post.
