  2. I agree. Trev, and WBB staff, should aim higher. Regarding Brady and Dillard, we wouldn't be abandoning them. Dillard already has a degree and is a graduate student, without finding the court (through no fault of hers). Brady is in her 4th year. She played some at the beginning and end of her freshman year, but sat out the middle with concussion issues. On December 6th of her sophomore year, she was injured, and sat out the next 2 years with various injuries. She is now in her 4th year, again missing games with concussion issues. It might not be in her best health interest, to keep playing. There are probably medical hardship type options, if more schooling is needed.
  3. Cain development was also questionable. Her freshman year, might have been her best.
  4. True. Regarding player development, he works specifically with the post players. (per Husker site bio)
  5. Coach Love was Associate Head Coach at the end. The quote below is from his bio on the Husker web site. "Love, who oversees Nebraska's player development program across all positions, spent four seasons as an assistant women's basketball coach at South Dakota, helping the Coyotes to 96 victories, a trio of Summit League titles and four straight trips to the conference tournament title game. He helped USD to a 32-6 record and a 2016 Summit League regular-season championship. The 2015-16 season culminated with a 2016 Postseason WNIT championship. In 2014-15, the Coyotes also won the Summit League regular-season title and advanced to the WNIT."
  6. You are being kind. For some reason, no one talks about Dillard. Thanks for asking the question.
  7. I wasn't being critical of your post. I've seen the question asked, if Allison could get a medical hardship. I was just providing information.
  8. She did mention one thing about Allison. Evidently, she has played in over 30% of our games, so does not qualify for a medical year.

  10. Weidner was good at taking it to the hoop. Also encouraging, Sam finished at the hoop a couple of times against Indiana. She will only get better, as her conditioning improves. Callin might be another. Time will tell. Penetrating, and kicking out, is getting predictable. We've had quite a few of those passes, getting intercepted lately. Nothing easy in this league.
  11. Agree. Most of the turnovers by Jazz, were efforts to get the ball inside. Amy best figure out how to handle this. Other coaches will see how effective Indiana was, and game plan accordingly.
  12. Puzzles me too. My only thought, with so few practices, she isn't in BBall shape yet? Or, still behind the learning curve? Regardless, she sure seems to contribute when on the floor. Another puzzler (to me); wondering why we went to Sam at the end of regulation, and beginning of OT. She looks better every game, but still seems to be playing into shape. She was probably running on fumes towards the end. Yet, it was a great effort. Out numbered 8 - 5 (stripes), still took them into OT. Proud of our ladies.
  13. I will excuse Jazz, if she doesn't spend any time crashing the boards today. She will have her hands full.
  14. 15. Took me a minute too. You're not alone. My first thought, Maddie Simon. DOH!
  16. "Next Man Up" (woman), does seem to be a better approach than "Woes Me". And perhaps, to be fair, that might have been the locker room approach. The "losing the heart and soul" comments might have been for the media and fans (and Allison).
  17. Can you imagine Volleyball having two of their scholarships tied up for years, on players that seldom, or never, see the court? On top of that, we have two scholarships open this year. Curious, at best. Sorry to beat a dead horse. Just annoys me.
  18. As far as I know, they are still on scholarship. Roster management has had me puzzled for some time. We do not utilize scholarships wisely.
  19. That quarter didn't go well.
  20. The Kendall's can play good defense. I do wish they would play more with the feet, than the arms and hands. They tend to reach a bit much. I still like their effort.
  21. Nicea was a good one. Her dad was a regular on this site at one time. You still there, Actualfacts1? I hope you and yours are doing well.
  22. I appreciate Nebraska fans taking the 'high road'. BUT, if the crowd today, BOO's Leigha Brown for 40 minutes, I won't have a problem with it. GBR
  23. It could be Protected Health Information? Maybe tied to HIPAA regulations? As mentioned, perhaps the Weidner's requested this be kept quiet for a period of time?
