Brady too? Imagine no Dillard yet. Playing with 8?

Big Ten team news...(Hoopla's picks complete p. 17)
12dozen replied to whoopdeedoo's topic in Row 6 Seat 10
Looks like it happened November 17th at the end of the game. They mention she twisted an ankle in the article. -
I copy and paste my little blurb from the Huskers.com site. They have a more detailed article on each game. Just select WBB as the team, and you are in business.

Do you know why Brady did not make the trip? Is she injured? We managed well without her, but another healthy body on the bench, wouldn't hurt.
-
Jazz, Krull, and Weidner really handled the pressure well. Huskers looked prepared for this one. Even when down in the first half, they were playing under control. Kudos to staff and players for this one.
-
Huskers win, 90 - 67. 2nd half was a Masterpiece!!
-
Lady Huskers up 4 after 3 quarters. Jazz is on fire. 27 points so far.
-
Maryland up 36 - 31 at the half. Looks like a short bench again. Not seeing Brady or Dillard on the bench, but could be mistaken. Sam might be dressed, but doubt she plays. Markowski picked up her 2nd foul early in the 2nd period, and sat the rest. Fairly close game, considering.

And Jazz made the All B1G Defense 1st team last year. Not looking like a repeat performance. (so far)

I have a question.... Isn't the scholarship limit, for Division I WBB, fifteen (15)? Unless I'm missing someone, including Haiby, Mendelson, and Dillard, I count only 13 players. It seems our bench is short players. Why? Shouldn't we use all available scholarships? It's like a self imposed sanction.
-
No ESPN+, unless you have an ACC package. Guess I'll listen to Matt and Jeff.

Agree, great placement. My only complaint, we had to wait until the final name was called, to hear "Nebraska". Fingers crossed for Omaha. WBB can wait another week or two for Maggie.
-
Regarding our volleyball season, this post might be considered a sacrilege. But, I admit, the same thought crossed my mind.

Anyone else watch on Flosports? Not sure who was running the arena clock. Someone should have told them to stop the clock, when a whistle blows. Refs left much to be desired also. Good to get out of there with another win.
-
I was hoping they would take Markowski out the last 30 seconds of the half. Sure enough, she picked up a foul. Luckily, it was only her first. As Redsteve said, this will probably be close to the end. GBR

Shelley should stop forcing passes. She must have at least 3 turnovers already. Huskers up 23 - 21 midway in the 2nd quarter.

Up double digits at half. Playing better. Jazz even sank a couple 3's. Weidner is really playing well. She carried us the first half.
-
She just now picked up number 2. Not sure why I thought she had 2 earlier. Weidner is playing well. Stewart with a couple nice 3's.
-
Markowski with 2 fouls. Yet, she's still out by half court defending. Could have picked up number 3. Lucky she didn't. Not much fire, so far. Pick it up, ladies.
-
Looks like Weidner is wearing some kind of protective goggles or glasses.
-
I don't think Weidner will start, but don't know. Just copied what was posted on Huskers.com a couple days ago.
