  1. This is all so ridiculous to me. If you wana stay home, stay home. If you wana go watch the game, go to the game. If you wana play, play. The hospitals aren’t even close to being overwhelmed. Nearly everyone is getting tested. Majority of people don’t show symptoms. Death rate continues to decrease. Recovery rate continues to increase. What the hell are we doing cancelling virtually everything still?
  2. We're going to see football of some kind this year. Might not be the Big 10, but the SEC is going to play regardless. Looks like I might have to pull out my old LSU CWS merch for this fall.
  3. I'm with Lamar. Let these athletes play if they want to play. Get busy living or get busy dying. Edit: This goes for both CFB and NFL. Actually any sport.
  4. Seriously bet he gets a Creighton offer now lol
  5. If McGowens isn’t eligible it’s gonna be another rough year IMHO
  6. Great length but also kind of clumsy. There's a real chance this kid can develop into a major player at the D1 level in the next 2-3 years, but there's also a reason Andre's rankings progressively tanked on 247 and Rivals. I'm a believer in this project though.
  7. I'm going to say Ouedraogo. I also think he starts despite what Robin said back in May. Banton McGowens Thor Teddy Ouedrogo First off the bench: Shamiel, Webster, Lat, Walker, Wood
  8. I hate myself for thinking this, but this recruit screams leaving after one year fill him with a 2021 transfer type of player
  9. Sounds like the staff knew for roughly two weeks or so that him coming here was looking bleak.
  10. Unless we’re a projected top 10 team I’d just forget about playing Duke, Louisville, or UNC.
  11. Hunter is 100% heading to a blue blood. Most likely UNC, but if Duke offers I've heard he'll pull the trigger immediately. Regardless, don't waste your time worrying about Hunter heading to L-town, unless he decides to transfer if he's playing a diminished role wherever he chooses.
  12. I'll agree that there's an argument when compared to Teddy, but it's not like Teddy's head and shoulders better than LJ. I'm still not sold on Banton.
  13. Considering LJ would be the best player on the team if you were to somehow find a way to get him a spot, you absolutely take him. But he's more than likely going to end up just declaring for the NBA and pursuing his professional career.
  14. Piggybacking off the previous post. Not in yet, but may be the last team in? https://twitter.com/AdamZagoria/status/1262400510222630913?s=20
  15. We'd have to take off players under NBA contracts, right? So Roby would be out.
  16. Don't really buy too much into that considering it looks like he was set on Seton Hall anyway.
  17. Dylan Travis is a straight up baller
  18. I feel like this was always going to be an issue next year regardless. The hope is that we can counter that with more talented guard play.
  19. IMO Arop is different just because throughout the year he really didn't play at all. Cross played significant minutes and I believe was worth investing in. But then again what the hell do I know?
  20. I understand that, but who's going to stay on a team where, as Sip is indicating, the coach is telling you to find greener pastures. I would hope that our staff was more or less indifferent on his decision rather than insisting that he leaves.
  21. See this I somewhat have a problem with. Cross was a project no doubt, but I'd rather we invest in a guy that we can all see would improve dramatically with an off-season of college nutrition/strength and conditioning if he's willing to stick with the team, continue to work on his shot, become even more comfortable within the system, and battle it out. If that wasn't the case and he was leaning towards leaving because he wanted more playing time then so be it, but if he was willing to stay I would hope the staff would be more open to developing over the course of 3-4 years rather than insisting to leave.
  22. Couldn't agree more, Norm. The risk of getting the disease will not outweigh the desire to live like you'd want in August like it is now for most people.
  23. Gotta be Lakes
  24. Aim for a .500 overall record. Anything above that is gravy to me. I'm personally viewing this as Year 1.
