I absolutely was thinking that in the first half. Especially because our shots seemed flat, which lead to them all bouncing in and out.
But we nutted up, came back, and dominated the second half and OT. That was awesome and whatever happened, worked
Holy moley that was awesome.
I was so frustrated at half, with a good chunk of that at one player. But man oh man did they make up for it.
That was awesome.
Lets win a couple on the road
Huge CJ fan. I love him sticking around. This kind of consistency in todays NCAA is immeasurable.
He also has figured out his game, what he can do, and what he can’t do. He puts himself in much better situations that he has before. His lateral quickness really isn’t awful…. His vertical quickness is. As long as he plays his game he will continue to be an awesome contributor
There’s adversity, and there’s losing one of your top guys in a horrible freak accident injury….
Ive never seen Fred look like that after it.
At the end of the day this was a big ten road loss. That happens. Even Wisconsin lost last night.
Heartbreaking and bullshit at the same time.
Absolute ref show.
Absolutely heartbreaking about Juwan.
At the end of the day the tournament is still out there for the taking.
As frustrating as that was to watch, I don’t think it’s a big deal. We lost on a BIG road game to a ranked team that is top of the league. We just can’t let this hurt us more than once.
On to Purdue, and then two more road games. If we can grab one of the next 3 I’ll be content. If we can grab 2 I’d be elated.
I agree with this for sure, but mostly for Blaise’s sake, rather than the team.
I don’t have any concern of him “taking up a scholarship”. That was a much bigger deal when transfers were sitting out, but nowadays it’s extremely hard to keep 12-14 guys happy enough to stay around for another year.
I would much rather take the chances that Blaise makes a comeback than I would on the last scholarship guy on the bench hanging around without transferring in this day and age.
