I love this team, I love Keisei, I love Jo, and I even love boogie. Everyone found their role on this team, everyone bought in, and the team was awesome to watch. We ran into an absolute buzz saw tonight against Tamu. We didn’t play great defense by any means, but they came and shot out of their minds in the first half. At that point we didn’t have a chance. Agreed. Even put Keisei on any combination of players ever and he makes them better. He’s not naturally a creator, but the way he opens up a defense is incredible.

Huge props to the team and coaching start on this. The way the game was being reffed was not the working well with our original plan of moving fast on the perimeter and getting open looks. We adjusted well, started attacking the rim, and turned the reffing style into a positive for us.

Quad 1 game on the road against a team playing as hot as anyone. More than a few shots that rolled in and out of the rim. Questionable at best officiating. And we still had a real chance with 3 minutes left in the game. That being said if we don’t take as many bad shots, don’t make dumb fouls on the far end of the court, and don’t get mixed up on defense a few times we win that game dispute the bullshit. Very frustrating, but not a big deal at the end of the day.
