I hope we win enough games where I care about random other games and can pick which team I cheer for based on its (however minuscule) effect for Nebraska. Florida state is playing Notre Dame on ACC network right now, and it’s a decent game. Could be the difference if we get into the tourney (mostly kidding)

Phew. Didn’t watch or listen, but glad to see a win. Anything can happen in conference play, especially if we can get some confidence and be tough to beat at home.

Kelly is a joke, and all fans need to let him know that next game he is in Lincoln. We still had a chance halfway through the second half even though everything (including our defense) pointed against it. That gives me a little promise, but we still need to make some shots. We can win any game in the country if one of CJ or Keisei is hot. We will win any game in the country if both are hot. Neither were hot tonight. Whoever said that WB will be Ubel was spot on, except that Wilhelm has more natural ability and could be better long term under the right circumstances JLaw is still a true freshman, but it’s starting to matter a lot, and could be a long term great idea he hangs around

Some people are better off at a different level…. Kelly would excell in High school as a referee

I’m sure my logic is slightly flawed here, but I almost think it’s more likely to make the NCAA than the NIT, and that the CBI or other is almost impossible. 18+ we are in the tourney with this resume 17 wins and it’s possible to make the tourney and possible to make NIT 16 wins and we are (with a 500 record) in the NIT 15 wins and we are out of contention of anything I also am not including BIG tournament in the above and that affects everything, but my point is still that if we win at least half our games we will have a great resume

Damn. Just looked at the stats. I didn’t realize how bad our shooting actually was during the game. We make a couple more, or a couple front ends and we probably win that. Sam at times looked like he couldn’t walk and was an absolute warrior. I don’t know that we have ever (since I’ve been really following) had a player that shoots the shots Keisei shoots and I’ve just expected them to go in. Refs sucked, that’s just always the case though. Last Saturday if you said that we would win one, and go to overtime for another I’d have taken it in a heartbeat. Now I’m upset about it. Gotta get CJ some swagger. Sam will get healthy. And we might do some damage in the big ten. I don’t want to get ahead of myself, but this team has absolutely belonged on the court with three straight (ish) top ten teams

Not as bad as expected

I am concerned that there is very little hype about this game from the average fan. We just knocked off a top ten team on the road, and we have number 4 coming to town. If we want to have a shot tomorrow, the crowd has to play a real part. Spread the word. If any of you reading this are in the red zone, you are where it starts.

4 days ago it was an almost guarantee that we go 0-2 for two road games against two (at the time) top ten teams. while frustrating to watch right now, I’d have taken my chances at winning the lottery over us winning both of these games. Not a season killer at all. Hopefully we can get it close enough that the casual fan is still excited for Saturday.

Absolute trash. Guy fouls Bando, ref blows the whistle. Ref realized we were going to be shooting free throws so he changed his mind on who the foul was on. Ref calls makeup travel immediately. Does not give us our free throw opportunity back. We turn ball over. We foul because we have fouls to give. Ref does not call it

I normally wouldn’t mind the 3s that CJ is shooting, but he just hasn’t been hitting them this year

While I’d obviously love to win tonight, it’s gonna take a Herculean effort. But I really hope Sam is back for Saturday. Hopefully we can get a rocking crowd and then anything can happen.

I’m just trying to keep my expectations in check. Even if we play our best ball it still might take some luck. I think we can be a competitive team this year, but it is difficult for any team to put a borderline top ten team on the road. I’m sure at least one top 25 team will get blown out at Indiana this year.

I did find it interesting who was in red for the husker hoops story on Facebook. I had originally figured they just picked random teams, but it appeared to be mostly starters plus Keisei. No idea if it means anything

Wasn’t it a 17 or so point spread against lil c? Looks like we will win by 14 this time.
