The worst rebounding team I've seen in a long time. Apparently Leigha and Izzy wanted to win. Nobody else gave a damn. Seniors definitely aren't playing like this could be their last game of their college careers. The effort is just so disappointing. It's been the same almost the entire second half of the season. Can somebody please help me understand how we've lost every game (except Maryland) this way? Why in the hell can we STILL not rebound the ball? Why can't we defend anybody shooting a 3 point shot? Why do we start every 2nd half with no energy whatsoever? Why are we platoon subbing this late in the season? These are just a few questions I wish someone would help me understand, because I'm very frustrated. We have way too much talent to be playing this lackadaisical. Yup. The golden rule in basketball is not to put yourself in a position in which the referees "decide" the game anyway. Lots of individual mistakes were made; and just not great team play overall. Also if either Sam and/or Leigha make both or just go a combined 3/4 on those late FT's we win.. but oh well, on to the next game! Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

Also my opinion in the Coach Yori comments: Coach Yori recruited Nicea, and one thing I loved about her was that she was exactly that kind of coach. Nicea has always thrived on hard-nosed coaching like that. But also it's disrespectful to what Amy has built in her short tenure. We are 11-2 and have made the NCAA tourney before. What I would like to see out of coach Amy and her staff is personally challenging these girls to get effing tougher!! Maybe incorporate drills in practice that has them diving on the floor for loose balls; running (as punishment) every time a rebound isn't grabbed. Just get that as*hole in them. We need a "McCutcheon" on our team. A girl who refuses to lose without going down swinging. Our girls LIKE to win; but are like "meh" when they lose. They don't HATE losing. That's what it takes to be successful in the B1G. Its literally the best women's basketball conference in the country. Just my opinion though. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

I can see both sides of the "argument". I actually think we have 2 great point guards in Hannah and Sam. What they're lacking right now though is basketball IQ in late game situations. Sam is still young; Hannah didn't quite develop into the leader she needs to be (though it's still not too late bc she has definitely has it in her). There's just no tenacity. The commentator said earlier, MSU has wiped the floor clean with their jerseys today." And that sums up how we play. Late in the game we were still going under screens allowing MSU to shoot 3s. We're still bending over to pick up loose balls while MSU is diving for them. And we still had chances to win it, but we just don't have that "dog" in us. I just want one girl to step up and be that. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

Damnit we got screwed at the end of regulation. Then we play like total crap in overtime. Awful pass by Nicea. We just don't play hard enough down the stretch to win games like this. We give up open three's; don't get after loose balls; and don't rebound for sh*t. This was a game we should've won easily if we do the little things. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
