I disagree— he’s a career 32.6% shooter which is basically 1/3. From a big man, that’s not terrible. We also need that offensive production from him outside with the way that our offense is structured. Otherwise, if teams know he isn’t shooting, they can pack it in which hurts our other guys. Not saying he should take a ton of 3’s, but 2-3 early and more if he is hitting isn’t a bad thing IMO.

Purdue fans aren’t super sure of this one.

Would be a nice game for Mast to get hot from outside… bring Edy out of the paint and get him moving around.

After the game tonight will mark the 1/4 of the way though conference schedule. Should we win, we’ll be tied I the standings with Purdue 1/4 of the way through the conference schedule….

The only thing I can think is that he’s projecting where we’ll finish. Which, while still crazy, is better than saying we’d be an 8 seed as of today which most brackets go by.

Winds appear to die down into the teens with gusts near 20 tomorrow afternoon/evening. So not as strong as morning. Hopeful we have a good crowd. We didn’t get much here and if Lincoln is the same way, there won’t be a ton to blow around.

I’m guessing Purdue will not want a postponement if they’re already in Lincoln for this very reason.

Im honestly shocked… shocked! I didn’t think that was a very good Minnesota team we played in December. I’ve got tickets to that game in February and that may be an interesting one should each team continue on their current trajectory.

Don’t look now but Minny is 12-3, 3-1 and up to 78 with their win today. Quietly becoming now just a meh loss but almost a missed opportunity at a good win.

It's very likely we're facing the #1 and #2 teams in the conference in back-to-back games. It's also somewhat of a chance that we just played the #1 team.

Looks like the NET only dropped us 1… which is nice. I thought it’d be more. That Minny loss isn’t looking as bad in metrics eyes. Also the KSU and MSU wins will hold us up for a bit. Grabbing a win Tuesday would do wonders for our metrics. Understatement of the century I know.
