The metrics are going to hate us.

If we can get this down to 6-7 by the end of the game… it won’t hurt the metrics too much.

We allllmost cut it under 10. Wisco just shooting lights out.

We need to come out with a run. Cut it to under 10 by the 16 minute mark.

We’re going to have to at least make this one competitive. We can’t be getting blown out. Our D has been a disappointment. That’s our strength. That’s what we win on.

Maybe a little? But not as improved as us. Now will they be more focused and expect us to give them a good game? Most likely. They aren't having much trouble with Illinois tonight, so they won't be expending a bunch of energy in that one. So while we're better, we'll also likely have to play better to pull that one on Tuesday out. Can we do it though? Of course!

We’re at a point in the season though where it shouldn’t be thought of as some huge feat to at minimum make the post season… but should probably dance. We’re 12-2, 2-1 have beaten probably a team that finishes in the Top 4 of our league and have a Big 12 road win against a team that probably finishes mid pack. So if this season doesn’t progress they way that we hope from here out, that’s not good. We’ve got a team that, in the conference this year, can finish Top 4-6.

To be fair, the season could have went two completely different ways after that Minnesota debacle. FH teams of the past would have folded. This years team is different. We’ve been trained not to expect the season to go the way it’s gone.

While I believe it was a little of the first, I don’t want to poo on how we played that night either. That was a battle of two teams who didn’t want to start conference play 0-2. Make no mistake, MSU wanted that one and they weren’t taking things for granted either. I don’t think they took us lightly at all. However, I’d much rather have played them when we did instead of now or February.

Nebraska has broken into the top 50 in Pom and Trank with results last night. NET now into the 50’s. MSU is now a solid Q1 win for us while Minnesota is just 6 spots away from being a Q1 loss!

I’ve come to the realization that point of emphasis really means “don’t do it until mid-December.

Not happy to see us dropping below the BE in conference rankings.

The crazy thing is that IU isn’t even that bad. They got boat raced by a Top 25 Auburn and really good UCONN team, took KU to the wire and probably should have won that one, and lost to us (a soon to be Top 25 team… fingers crossed) by 16. Outside of that, they’ve taken care of business and started 2-0 in the conference. They’ve got OSU, @Rutgers, and then Minnesota in their next three. They could easily go 2-1 and 3-0 isn’t out of the question. They could sit at 13-4, 5-1 with 14 conference games remaining.

I was watching a few of their sites through the game last night. They do in fact come over here because they posted @hhcmatt game day analysis on one of their boards. To summarize their board last night - They stink this year and probably won’t even make the NIT. - We aren’t even a good team. - Is it time to talk firing Woody! - Too many TO’s by their seniors. - XJ isn’t a fan favorite over there.

16 point cruising victory for them maybe!

And now we have JLaw knocking down multiple 3’s. Gary and Mast have off nights from deep… but we’re truly a team that I’m comfortable with just about anyone shooting a 3. Been a while…
