Watching Purdue tonight almost do what they want with Indiana on their home floor in a huge rivalry... we KNOW this team can hang with anyone in the country. Play like we did against Purdue and we won't have to worry about NET this and KenPom that.
This was huge Friday. Lose by 4-7 points, we drop, but not back into the 50’s. NET favors MOV so we need to blow teams out and avoid getting blown out.
“The rule change also states that a secondary defender would have to be outside the restricted area arc to legally draw a charge. “

Are men and women different?
Teams will RISE and Fall throughout the year. We actually moved UP in the NET after game results yesterday. We're still 2-3 in Q1 and 1-1 in Q2. We just need to win and we'll be fine. We have our signature win. We will most likely end up with 2-3 Q1 wins. Just play our game and don't feel pressured. We've got more chances than most of those teams to make a statement.
If there’s a 4 game stretch out there that can kind of give us some breathing room and maybe allow us to play “with house money” for a change… it’s this next four game stretch. This is the only one that I see where we can realistically go 4-0. Two home games and our roadies are Maryland and Rutgers. 2-2 should be the bare minimum here. 3-1 probably expected for a true tournament team. 4-0 is not out of a the question for a team that’s a tournament lock.
A loss would have been acceptable. They aren’t a bad team. How we lost and how bad it got is unacceptable. Our metrics moved further back than they moved up after our Purdue win. That’s not good.

Literally gave everything we received after our Purdue win back. We’re actually lower than where we were Sunday before the Purdue game. Sunday after Wisco we were 51…
I mean… that’s basically all teams… but yeahhh. You’d think that wouldn’t be the case for a team that prides itself on D… but we fricking left our D in Lincoln.
