  1. I worry about them trying to guard the dribble drive. Other than that, they should be able to dominate most teams inside.
  2. Not a ton out there for immediately eligible yet.
  3. For those wondering.... Glynn and Co. will look to make it back-to-back for the B1G
  4. $1,000 for every pool play win and $100K to the overall winner. Glynn and Co. will play... Team Ivy- 8:30 PM Friday Team Horizon- 11:50 AM Saturday Team Big Sky- 3:00 PM Saturday
  5. Give me team Big 10 any day of the week.
  6. Anyone know who is on Glynns team?
  7. 4-0 in Mid-Week games. 14-9 overall, but had we played all our games, realistically we could have 18-20 wins. Big series against Purdue this weekend.
  8. Possibly talking about Nana. Also could possibly be talking about those that maybe don't want to play under someone not named Miles. I don't know that there is anyone for sure like that, but there always seems to be.
  9. Is it true that Blessie was the #26 HS player in the nation and has only pitched for us in one game?
  10. With the way that they hand out waivers like candy nowadays... we could get someone who receives one and provides instant help.
  11. Crazy that we might be losing 5 starters and are still talking about how the cupboard isn't as bare as it might seem. Another huge kudos to Miles for that. Excited to see some magic worked on the transfer market to possibly make next year a special one.
  12. I think we have a pretty solid 1-4.
  13. Good call! 7-0 good guys!
  14. OOF. Losing pieces is not good. Wish Tom the best. One thing it does do is open up a scholarship for Hoiberg to use. Excited to see how that goes.
  15. I don't know if this is what you are talking about as well, but based on information that I have heard a while back, I think it's ok to still be critical of Moos and his handling of some situations during the Miles tenure. I think you can be critical of Moos and his handling of situations during the Miles tenure while also pointing out that this was a great hire for the basketball program. It doesn't have to be an either/or.
  16. Even more amazing was the fact that we had out of state news reporters at an introductory press conference for a Nebraska Basketball coach. Shows you how much our program has grown.
  17. Fred talked to Tim 2 days ago.
  18. This stuck out to me as he mentioned that he talked to his wife about it. Very nice if true.
  19. Remember when Nebraska dunks used to be the outlier and not the norm.
  20. There is so much more that I could have posted. I just wanted to thank Tim one last time before we head into the next era of Nebrasketball this afternoon.
  21. November 16th, 2014: Nebraska heads into it's new season ranked for the first time in a looooooooong time. The #21 Nebraska Cornhuskers defeat Northern Kentucky. Unfortunately this season ends more disappointing than it started. But to be ranked in the pre-season wouldn't be the last time for Tim and Co. 2015-2016 Season: Nebraska signs one of its best recruiting classes in history. In addition, it would sign one of its best starting PG’s who would make an impact for four years at Nebraska. 2016-2017 Season: Nebraska is in the midst of trying to keep a team together as Andrew White III, Shavon, and Benny are all gone. Another disappointing season overall. However, Nebraska would sign it’s first possible player to go to the NBA a year early in Isaiah Roby. In addition, it would pick up its first ever 5* of the Rivals era in Isaac Copeland as a transfer. Lastly, it picks up what would become the single season scoring record holder in James Palmer Jr off the transfer market. We also signed what would be the players to receive the most “T’s” after made dunks in history. Jan 18th, 2018: Nebraska demolishes the eventual National Runner Up by beating Michigan at home by the score of 72-52. February 25th, 2018: Nebraska beats Penn State at home to finish the season with 13 conference wins and an overall record of 22-9. One of the best in school history.
  22. As we all get ready to head into a new era of Nebraska basketball, I wanted to take one last look back and thank Tim for everything he accomplished and for putting this job on the map. Sure, the inside of our house isn't complete yet, but you would be absolutely lying to yourself if you say that Tim and Co. didn't lay a solid foundation for this program to take the next step. There were certainly lows throughout his time here, but here were oh so many highs as well. It's easy to remember the lows, and there have been enough threads about that for one lifetime. I wanted to point out a few of the highs and my fondest memories. March 24th, 2012: Tim Miles was named the next head coach of the University of Nebraska. November 8th 2013: Tim Miles and Co. open Pinnacle Bank Arena. Not only did we knock off America's darling (Florida Gulf Coast), we started what would become one of the best home court advantages in both the Big 10 and the nation. In addition to this, we would go on a run for the ages later this year. February 16th, 2014: Nebraska is in the heart of the Big 10 season. Sitting at 13-10 and 5-6, there is some hope in Husker nation that we might be able to make something of this season. A huge road game loomed at Michigan State. Result? Nebraska in the upset. I would say the game that started it all for our dancing hopes. March 9th, 2014: We all remember it. How could you not? One of the best atmospheres I have ever seen... and it was on TV. NO SIT SUNDAY was a resounding success. The famous Kent quote of "Let's Twerk" still rings in my mind. Chills every time I watch this. The Petteway three was one of the loudest moments I think I have heard on TV. March 16th, 2014: For the first time in nearly 20 years, Nebraska gets the opportunity to dance.
