Don’t look now, but a lot of interesting story lines shaping up in the final week. Especially if we win tomorrow. 1. 3rd still within reach though Iowa gets Northwestern in Iowa City. I don’t see them losing 2 the rest of the way. 2. Rutgers is another story in 4th. They go to Minnesota who could still have something to ply for. Jumping Rutgers and avoiding the Maryland/Iowa side of the bracket would be hugeeee! 3. The chance to end PU’s season. After last year, we should be chomping at the bit for that opportunity.

Gosh dang it— I feel for Efry… ughhh. He had been a nice wrinkle as of late.

We have the talent to make it to Sunday of a regional. We also could go 2 and BBQ in Omaha for the conference tournament. It’s such a wide stretch that it makes it so frustrating.

Kudos to the boys for winning the night cap. After that debacle of a finish to the suspended game, it would have been easy to not focus for the night game too.

I do agree with this. When you're only 30-45 minutes away and you have a ground crew as good as UNL's... you finish that game that night or make them drive back.

Appears Omaha may only get some light showers... so should be played. Game 1: Need to take advantage of a bases loaded no out to start this 7th. 2-3 runs would be best. If we don't, I could see us losing this one. Game 2: Just win baby!

LOL-- Normy one of those didn't even catch rim. Didn't realize he was that highly touted out of HS. Top 50 recruit and consensus 4-5*

Disagree with this... but do think he would have only logged about 10 MPG... which for him might have felt like a DNP.

Unfortunately, we'll not get the opportunity to see what he could have done with 2 full seasons under his belt. Injuries and pretty good depth at his position hampered him. He was on my list of possible break out contenders for next year. Don't think he was ever going to be a starter, but also feel that he could have developed into a nice 7th-9th man role player had he stuck around. Completely see him not wanting that role though and wish him nothing but the best. Someone is going to get a player with potential, heart, and hustle.
