A few big things stick out… 1. If we can find a way to homer, we’re 66% more likely to win… or maybe 66% less likely to lose. I think the match checks out on that one. 2. How the hell have we lost 2 games hitting 4 homers? 3. 7 homers in a game is just nuts.

4 points in our trips to LAFC and Seattle was definitely not expected after our first month and a half. Are we back? Huge hole to dig ourselves out of, but play like we have the past 2 weeks and we’ll be alright.

Love the idea of promo and releg… I’m guessing all soccer fans do too. There is a place for that in the US and as we see with teams like Omaha in the cup… there’s parity there. With that being said— I don’t know that I ever see it happening. Too much $$$ and politics involved.

Being on the younger side as well, I have a natural recency bias. I had to go by who I realllly liked to watch play. Jeter and KT come to mind. Petteway, Palmer, WP3, Benny P, Shields, and DW are nice honorable mentions.

Win one next week and that’s called a winning streak! It has happened before!

Don’t look now, but a lot of interesting story lines shaping up in the final week. Especially if we win tomorrow. 1. 3rd still within reach though Iowa gets Northwestern in Iowa City. I don’t see them losing 2 the rest of the way. 2. Rutgers is another story in 4th. They go to Minnesota who could still have something to ply for. Jumping Rutgers and avoiding the Maryland/Iowa side of the bracket would be hugeeee! 3. The chance to end PU’s season. After last year, we should be chomping at the bit for that opportunity.
