Hate Creighton. Will never cheer for them just because they are from Nebraska. So happy they lost. However, respect is due here for Mac. Didn’t blame the loss on anything really. “Missed some shots, that’s basketball” he said. So many things happen throughout a game that changes the outcome. One single play, call, etc never “decides” a game completely. Respect him not blaming the loss and focusing on what THEY can control.

It doesn’t necessarily make us “better”… but just like Creighton… basically no one likes them. Rooting FOR them in the same sense doesn’t make us better either.

We absolutely cannot give someone a 6-0 lead and expect to win. Just can’t do it. Theme of the year… but we’ve got to get the Sunday weekend pitching rotation figured out. Our Sunday/Mid-Week guys will be the deciding factor on if we make post season and currently that’s not looking good. This team is set up to go 2-0 in tournament play and then lose 2 straight.

If you, as a referee see there was a foul, you have to call it. Criticize the way the rest of the game and the way it was called (or not called) vs a correct call. Where do you draw the cut line for swallowing the whistle though? 2 seconds, 5 seconds? Up 1,2,3? If players knew they could get away with anything that last 30 seconds it wouldn’t be good. Players did decide that game. The player fouled and then the other player hit the FT for the foul. Now with all of that being said, I would be mad pissed if that’s how we lost an NCAA game. That’s just part of being a fan.
