As I was filling out my bracket today, I ran across one of those lame polls which I seldom take on MSN. It asked if one was going to fill out an NCAA bracket this year. I opted for choice 1 which was "Yes, I am a college hoops fanatic". 14%! Choice 4 got 68% of the votes and was "No way, I'm not interested". Either it indicates the inherent flaws in these polls or indicates we are in elite company at HHS.

I would say it's the latter.

Am I becoming jaded or is the oversaturated and watered down product called NCAA basketball finally caused my waning interest in the sport? I find that I still enjoy filling out my bracket and following my favorite teams in the Big Dance. However, I have no interest in watching NIT games now and absolutely no need to even check scores in the CIB or Vegas tourneys. Meaningless spring training scores seem more important to seek out in the morning paper.

I agree about the NCAA  tourneygames-How about that Northern Iowa/Texas one last night? My point was supposed to refer to the third tier games which I used to like to watch as well. I now find that I do not watch any of these or even check scores to see who won, which I used to do.
