Looking a bit ahead to the Cal game - Kristine Anigwe, a 6'4" freshman, scored 43 points in their win against Sac State.  She played 24 minutes in their 117-99 win.  Also had 12 rebounds and 4 fouls.

will be a tough road game. i expect Bears will be one of the most athletic squads the Huskers will face this season.

It appears Sac State only has 3 players above 6 feet tall:  2 that are 6-1 and one that is 6 even.  The Hornets attempted 80 3 pointers in the game, making 20 of them. 

 

It will be interesting to see how many points Anigwe has against us.  I'd like to think we can hold her to under 20, guess we will see.

Haven't seen Cal play of course, but if they're a "one man show" then Jess, Rachel 43, Allie, and Anya are prime candidates for man defense of Anigwe.  Anigwe was a post that was rated very high a year or so ago. Hopefully we'll have some stoppers to slow her down.

 

Know nothing about the balance on the team. But they had real good recruiting classes recently. Is Gabby Green still at Cal ?

Looked at their roster....got some serious size !   And highly regarded guards/wings. 

Why they don't win even more than they do ??

i believe 4 of the starters average double figures for points scored. gabby green is averaging 6.1 pts/game.
