Some Husker news and recruiting during the off-season.

My question - at what point do you just go, "we're not gonna find high-quality 6'10" + guys, so let's just get over it and play a different style and use different roles."? Why work so hard and spend so much time on it when it rarely works?

IMO, find more Morrows, and spend less time trying to find the other guys. Figure out a style, offensively and defensively that fits them, and move on.

It's hard to believe we can't land a Top Flight JUCO Center (ala Ffriend or Chandler) since they would step on Campus and start day one. Hopefully Miles is working his magic behind the scenes and we will land the big man we so richly (as in King) deserve...

Between the lines this pretty much explains why we didn't see more of Sergej on the floor because I always thought his offensive game could develop.
